I don't like this year's calendar that came in the gift box. The earbuds are stupid. Bonnaroo 2014 lunch box still holds the trophy for best wristband gift, IMO.

I guess I'm not buying into the hooplah of the technology and science behind it. Seems like a huge marketing gimmick-- it's just a piece of plastic with a tiny hole in it. This reminds of the Q-Ray band or whatever it was called-- the metal band that's supposed to cure your arthritis and back pain by wearing it on your wrist.

Have you tried them? Do they make sound quieter with limited distortion? Seems pretty easy to test. I haven't tried these ones, but my Etymotics are cheap and work great. I don't want tinnitus.

Just taking a quick look at the bottom two lines of each day, I like The Eagulls, Jon Hopkins, Benjamin Booker, Perfume Genius, Sturgill Simpson, Annie Mac, M0, The Orwells, Sloan

Yah, Some good stuff in the small print, but nothing really "new." People are all hot for Chris Malinchak, but he's pretty meh IMP. Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger is Sean Lennon's band. Bixel Boys and Tiger and Woods are both discoveries for me, but not new. Same with Chicano Batman.
