I'm up for it, they're incredible live and four hours almost guarantees they'll play every song you could hope for
That seems to be the only complaint I have about an MMJ show is I don't get to hear every song I want to from them. They're great live. I would be all for this.

After Evil Urges came out in 2008 they had the 4-hour Late Night show just a few weeks later. When Circuital dropped in May 2011 they destroyed the main stage. Lets keep pulling for an album drop around May of next year and a headlining performance on Sunday night!
I had literally never heard of MMJ before this show. It was my first roo and I was there mostly to see Metallca. After they rocked everyone's brains out, I wandered over to Which and my life hasn't been the same since...

One of my best friends from high school had been raving to me about them since It Still Moves. Not bad, but didn't do much for me at that time. 5 years later, and that was the night I finally drank the Koolaid.
My biggest regret from four years on the farm is that I only saw the first hour fifteen and the last twenty minutes. Roo '08 was my first camping fest, and I broke two cardinal rules - never miss a Jacket set, and never leave a good show in progress. Blah... ya live, ya learn.
And of course I am on board with them as a Sunday closer. I haven't heard of many shows over 2.5 hours since '08 or so, but they always bring their A-game for Bonnaroo. Actually, scratch that - they pretty much always bring their A-game in general; for Bonnaroo, they invent new letters of the alphabet.
Walking up on them blind in 03, at noon on a friday was orgasmic. They were like barefoot, afro-ed cavemen back then, freshly stepped out of an Allman Brothers time machine. I'm blessed to have never missed a farm set. And to have cooked for em and met their families. Glad to see a lot of you guys are still following that golden Roo rule.

Do you guys think the new album the just started recording will be out by June?
edit:I see Boston has already addressed this. I can't think of a better way to close out Bonnaroo than with MMJ. Just don't know if AC is willing to give them a headliner slot yet. I'd think they would need a strong 1-2 at the top for this to happen.
Plus, AC's basically already given them their own hometown fest in Forecastle, which they could easily headline every other year to no objection.
The new album tour will presumably begin during festival season, but I'm torn on thinking whether MMJ is back on the farm this year, or if AC makes them a Forecastle exclusive.
