I know I've been slacking, but I've finally got my present all put together and am mailing it out this morning. I can't guarantee it will get there by Christmas, but certainly before New Year's. Apologies for the tardiness, but I think my recipient will appreciate the care package.
Unfortunately I missed the delivery of my own present, so I need to head out to the shipping centre today to pick that up as well.

Wait...what? I'm so confused right now. I read the name of the sender and location too fast and it's handwritten so I didn't really focus lol. Now i'm not sure if the name on here is of the secret Santa or the place the gift came from.

Wait, it came from Sleepytown, Australia? Crazy coincidence there. Must be from one of the Canadians, trying to conceal their homeland.
It came from outside u.s. and it had his first name on it. Thought I read Perth which I knew was down there but wasn't sure if it was where he was.
Nope, Sydney - Perth is about 2,500 miles that-a-way. To be honest, I've actually only ever seen the southeast: Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra, plus some smaller cities and the bush.
So am I to understand there's another Aussie Inforooster in our midst? Show yourself! (no, seriously - I need more concert-going buddies).

I don't think it's from another Aussie......just that it shipped from outside of the U.S. Maybe from the U.K. now that I look at the paper that came with it closer.

FYI, if they got it from an Etsy shop or something similar, it may have shipped from the crafter's residence rather than your Santa's. I know at least one person in the exchange that is worried their gift will be late due to it coming from an foreign seller.

itrainmonkeys's secret santa is turning into quite the thick plot. After he posted, I got a message from his his assigned secret santa saying that they were not the person who sent that mug to him. I went back through the emails, and it looked like I didn't double send his name. Whoever sent that mug, please shoot me a message so we can figure out if ITM's assigned santa needs to send their gift to someone else so nobody gets left out.

Hmmm........I guess it could be from another secret santa......maybe not inforoo. I didn't do many secret santa things this year so I may have mixed it up. I may just be an idiot. There was just a receipt kind of thing without any real info about who it was from or anything like that. I'll inquire elsewhere (to see if it's work or another forum).
