The giving continues for another year!
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Send an email to santadavemaynar@gmail.com with the following information: FULL NAME: ADDRESS: SCREENNAME:
I will randomly assign a secret santa to everyone. (I PROMISE it will be random). If for some reason there is a reason why you wouldnt want to be assigned as someones secret santa, please list those people in the email you send me.
2. Answer the questions below in a reply to this thread. Your Secret Santa once assigned will review those answers to determine what to give you.
3. Secret Santas will be given out on November 22nd. Once you've been assigned a person, check this thread, but PLEASE, DO NOT reveal who you have.
4. Let's try to ship all gifts by December 15th. Gifts DO NOT have to be purchased. Feel free to be creative and create or craft a gift. If you do intend on purchasing a gift, lets try to keep it in the $20 range.
5. Don't be "that guy". If you participate and are assigned as someone's Secret Santa, don't leave them without a gift. Please be prepared to participate if you e-mail me.
6. No noobs. With personal information being handed out, I have no choice but to keep this somewhat secure. Let's say a minimum of 500 posts OR 2 years account activity. Should you not meet these requirements but still want to participate, please post in this thread and have someone vouch for you.

1. What is your favorite genre of music. --I don't know if I have a favorite genre. Some of my favorite artists are David Byrne (with or without Talking Heads), Beck, Big Boi (with or without Outkast), Slim Cessna's Auto Club, Frank Zappa, and Portishead.
2. What is your favorite band. --Probably David Byrne solo, but maybe Talking Heads.
3. What is your t-shirt size. --XL
4. What is your favorite sports team. --I know I don't have a favorite one of those.
5. What is your favorite non-music related hobby. --Either sewing or baking.
6. What is your favorite color. --Purple!

(I own all of these on DVD or BluRay, except for Season 5 of Breaking Bad.)
9. What is your favorite restaurant/fast food joint. --Moe's, but they don't have that here in LV. I seem to want to go to Panera pretty much all the time.
10. What is your favorite "Munchies". --I tend toward the sweet side of things, so probably brownies or cookies. But salty is great too. I am a big fan of trail mix type things, particularly ones with chocolate in them.
11. What else do you want "Santa" to know about you? --I dunno. I'm okay at answering questions, but I'm not so good at volunteering information about myself. Edit - after reading some other answers to this, I'm going to copy a little to say: I am trying to learn to wear makeups and jewelry, but I'm not terribly good at it so far. I do wear earrings pretty much every day. And hair bands, but only the kind with teeth because my hair is super thin so most things just slide right off my head.
And as far as favorite holiday treat, I really like peppermint bark. And I love pumpkin rolls, but I can't imagine one of those would travel through the mail that well.

1. What is your favorite genre of music. Anything landing on the folk spectrum are usually my favorites, but as long as you stay away from anything too heavy or angry, I'm happy (bonus points for harmonies and/or passionate lyrics). 2. What is your favorite band. Dave Matthews Band has been my number one since middle school. I can't leave my roots behind. 3. What is your t-shirt size. Medium or large.. let's just go with large. 4. What is your favorite sports team. Not a huge sports girl, but the only two I care about at all are the Boston Red Sox and the UConn Huskies (my alma mater) 5. What is your favorite non-music related hobby. Reading (brain numbing, bad NY best sellers mostly), Wine-ing, and I loooove snowboarding. The mountain has been a big part of my life since I have been like 7, but my job makes it hard for me to hit the mountain often... I love being outdoors (but it usually involves booze...) 6. What is your favorite color. No specific answers- though I love bright, vibrant colors (and designs). 7. What is your favorite animal. Anything cuddly and furry. My numero uno are puppy dogs- especially smushy faced ones. I also love cats (and pandas, duh) 8. What is your favorite TV Shows/Movies. Lost, Gilmore Girls (yeah Chico!), Once Upon A Time, Grey's Anatomy, Grimm.. I'm not a huge fan of most of the shows this board loves- tastes are generally fantasy, high school drama and/or medical dramas. Movies-wise- I like romantic comedies and series based on books mostly. 9. What is your favorite restaurant/fast food joint. Taco Bell is the only fast food I actually will choose to go to. My favorite restaurant is any place Thai Or any place with a rockin' happy hour special. 10. What is your favorite "Munchies". Salt. Salt. Salt. If I had all the ingredients on hand (I never do), my favorite snack would be a little plate of nachos. But I usually go for reduced fat Wheat Thins and a tasty cheese, or Lipton Noodle Soup. 11. What else do you want "Santa" to know about you? I loooove earrings (but don't wear a lot of other jewelry). I don't go for nicknacks. I do listen to actual CDs. Love hand-made with love items.
