It came today! I was completely flummoxed by the box at first, thinking what the hell did I order from them? My SS sent a share worthy bucket of chocolate covered pretzels (yum!), a new book (yay!), a gorgeous purple scarf (love it) and a stuffed horse (so cute, I lost it to my 9 y/o). Great job, Secret Santa! Thank you

This post is so long overdue. I am such a jerk cause I got my secret Santa gift awhile ago and have been enjoying it on a nightly basis. @stratsg90 sent me some amazing salsa and the cutest paint your own birdhouse which I can't wait to paint. Also included was a waffle house button(!) some hot hands with the winter is coming warning...made me giggle and some rockabye baby songs for the kiddos. So thoughtful and so sorry I not only discovered the delivery late but slacked on the posting! Thank you so much!
I at least took a pic before i ate all the salsa. The spicy organic one is pretty awesome.

I guess I'm just lucky, because I got the BEST Secret Santa! Not only did I get that awesome Florence & The Machine MP3/Video set from Amazon that I posted about earlier (and that I am DYING to listen to/watch...), I also got a box of awesome goodies. 4 mini bottles of booze, an awesome Beatles tumbler with the name of my favorite song of theirs (and also one of my favorite phrases ever) - "All You Need is Love", 3 Beatles stickers, a BK Gift Card so I can get some of my favorite ICED COFFEES!!!, 2 Lindt chocolate bars, and smiley bubble necklaces!
Well, I just got home from a week vacation today to find a package from my secret Santa. Boy did I luck out! Druid, you fucking rock! Love the card! I have heard of trader joes, but I don't believe we have any here in Canada.
Caitlin has already gotten into the chocolates, while I'm fanning my mouth while tasting each sauce. No "pussy sauce" to be found. Blown away, completely nailed it! Thank you soooo much! Above and beyond! MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOURS!

Seeing all these gifts I'm really beginning to question whether I severely misunderstood the spending limit... thanks for making me look bad everybody! Looks like I'm going for another round of SS shopping asap.
Damn, I'm glad it made it. I had no idea it was so fucking hard to get shit to Canada. They wanted my underwear size, color of my bra, my social security number, and the last four digits on my credit card.

Agreed. I feel bad now. My recipient deserved way more than I was able to give. I see how big Inforoo goes now and next time....I'll be ready
ALSO! I know it's the thought that counts and this thread has been one of the multiple things to happen to show how awesome of a place this board is. I haven't been here a year yet and I feel so welcomed and loved. Thank you ALL for being awesome.

To the folks worried about what they gave, it's all the spirit. I know I happened to get lucky with a Black Friday sale that kicked ass on prices. It seems that everyone is stoked about what they gave and received. . I know I am.

I have it on good authority that your recipient absolutely LOVED her gift. Seriously, no lie. And the card, well, the card might have made her cry.
I got my secret santa a car. It'll be dropped off with one of those big bows on Xmas day.
cheers for your generosity, oprahtrainsmonkeys!
Dearest recipient: I just plugged in the tracking number, and your gift is ridin' 35,000 feet high above the middle of the Pacific Ocean right now. I pitched in a little extra for guaranteed delivery by Christmas, so I'mma be a bit miffed at the post office if it isn't.

My gift came in the mail a couple of days ago and are two of the cutest pairs of earrings ever....one of them with kitties in the design Also, I hope the recipient of my gift liked it as much as I had fun making it
As in who was Jack's recipient or who was Jack's secret Santa?
The name Jack had.
I've only been to Canada twice for trips outside the country, and nothing for about 10 years now. It's pretty cool seeing different things from different parts of the world, a tiny slice of how things are somewhere far away. Like even candy bars and whatnot look different elsewhere.
