Hey gang. I'm going to Asheville this weekend. What's hot?

This! The small glimmer of hope was brutal.

Not quite in Asheville but I will be at Pisgah Brewing Co for Tipper on Sat. Great outdoor venue, it is in a huge field so it kind of has like a mini festival feel with the beer tents and food trucks and what not. Also a KOA like two seconds down the road if you don't feel like driving back.

How else was I gonna get an answer from you deadbeats?


Any breweries in particular people recommend? Also, I have to work remotely from someplace with wifi on Friday. Anyone got a spot in mind?

Is Harvest the best record store game in town?

Seconded Tupelo Honey, Farm Burger, Thirsty Monk. If you're not into the GNR cover band there's a Ween cover band at Grey Eagle. Both of those venues are great, but you picked the wrong weekend.

shame on you both for not mentioning wicked weed.

Harvest is pretty nice. I am biased because I saw The Field do an in-store there with like thirty people one year.

So much sad

Pro tip: Downtown Inn & Suites is the finest lodging in all of Asheville.




p.s. nobody has ever seen the "suites"

Just to add on, the lady friend recommends Wicked Weed, Pisgah, Highland and Thirsty Monk as far as beers goes.
