Has anyone else made it to the stage of thinking about alternates yet? Bear Creek and FFF stand out for me. What else goes on in the fall?
I don't even want to imagine being at another music festival that time of year. Rather than thinking of an alternative festival, I'm thinking a different excuse to go to Asheville in the fall.

Sorry. I can't exist with the hole in my heart caused by no MOEMS. I need to know there is something out there that can partially replace it.
I'm mostly upset (beside the awesomeness of the music and venues) about not getting together with all of you this fall and eating at the ABC and drinking and playing "there goes the pandas!" Like Steph and CKS already said, MOEMs was perfect. Having breakfast at the DTI, too I couldn't wait for Rance to to come with me this year, too. He was really looking forward to experiencing this.

This. everyone should still come to Asheville at some time this fall. We'll get together and wear panda hoods and drink in every bar in Asheville.
I'm super sorry for you guys. It's such a great fest and wonderful city. It's given me many wonderful years of great music and food and beer and (more importantly) friends.
I was sad I couldn't attend this year but looking forward to being excited with you guys. Now, I'm just sad there isn't one.

Yeah. I noticed it but kind of blacked out on it because of the main message. If it's something this year, they need to come on with it before I get too deep into thinking about other plans.

Hopscotch was happening regardless, bruh bruh. I am thinking on FFF seriously. MOEMS has been the only thing that has held me back from it for the last two years. Also, PLANE RIDE, MOTHERFUCKERS!

I guess I'm super jaded and took it to mean things they already have going on, or have revamped (Big Ears). Not anything new.
