Just wondering if anyone here likes them, then I can trust your tastes. Cayucas is cool. Not so into their album but i'd be happy to see them. Django Django is waaay better for the similar style.
I would be down for a Tobacco set. Don't really dig Black Moth Super Rainbow, and I haven't heard Demon Queen yet.
download the album Exocise Tape from like 6 months ago.. 1 of my top 5 albums of last year... or just youtube a cople songs like el camino 2 or the 5th beat.. its basically Tobacco with zackey force funk.. So Tobacco with a funk singer.. crazy good and on no lineups of course

My friend talked to Craig Finn after a Hold Steady show in Cleveland last week, and Craig said that The Hold Steady will NOT be at roo this year, and that they actually don't plan on ever playing roo again.

I'm not sure that I would say they have a similar style. Django is like the poor mans Gomez, but with that being said I did enjoy their last album....kind of.

Django Django is my fuckin jam dog! That set was a shit load of fun last year! I straight up ditched my girl and joined the dance party. I almost forgot about that show.
My friend got a wink-and-a-nudge "maybe" from the guitarist of These Wild Plains. Probably a lounge/cafe/something smaller than a tent act, since I don't think they are very well known outside of Massachusetts.
