My friend got a wink-and-a-nudge "maybe" from the guitarist of These Wild Plains. Probably a lounge/cafe/something smaller than a tent act, since I don't think they are very well known outside of Massachusetts.

Danny Brown's touring DJ, SKYWLKR, just confirmed on his tumblr that he'd be at Roo, and I can only assume Danny will be with him because he said "we" when he confirmed

With his new music, his live act has significantly improved. He's made songs with the intent of performing them at festivals
I head it from a guy who saw and spoke to The Wild Feathers, seems they're in "negotiations" to be at Roo....I'd like to call them confirmed!

I saw them this summer at a fest and it was a great show. They're playing an hour or so away from me this weekend but my friends all backed out on me and I don't feel like going alone. This makes me happy to hear this!

Yeah that's very true, but they are doing sasquatch, and they might be doing others in that gap as well, but maybe they haven't been announced yet. Being popular but small I can see them being extra additions for a lot of the other festivals that play around those dates (firefly, governors ball, etc)
I can't see why they would take such a big gap in the middle of their tour if they're only playing one more show after that.

That's true, but I don't think that a band that's just making it big would miss the entire festival circuit. Also there are still 2 weeks between their last concert and bonnaroo, and a whole month till their next festival. I don't know I think they're very likely.
Fine, fair enough. They did say that their West Cast dates and that "PS: west coast is coming a little later." I don't know if they mean they'll add the dates later, or if the dates come after the ones already announced (as you said, a second leg.) I guess we'll have to wait.
