It's a direct link to the photo they used for the review of Morning phase (link). They do sometimes confirm artists, but it usually has a blurb underneath it saying something to the effect of "Beck will be performing at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival June 12-15th in Manchester, TN". Also, they have usually appeared the morning of the announcement.

I honestly can't remember about the Tennessean. I know knoxville.com (which is the entertainment offshoot of the News-Sentinel) has done it before. They put out some names early that morning for Big Ears just a month or two ago.

Just got confirmation that Kanye will NOT be there. A friend of mine works for livenation and deals with his merch and scheduling. Take it as you want. It's a reliable source.

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
Wasn't his show universally panned last time he played?
My buddy said it was his favorite set of the weekend; then again he didn't go to that many shows. I saw him at another fest recently and was impressed by his rapping ability but his overall show was pretty disappointing.
I'm still speculating about this 4th headliner though. No way it's Lionel Ritchie. The dude is a sideshow act these days...he came out as a surprise guest for Kenny Rogers in 2012 on the farm. He's just too relegated to one cheesy genre/era...no way he could headline Roo. Neither could Santana. The only "guy in his sixties that used to not be a solo act" that makes sense is Clapton. MAYBE Phil Collins, but that's a stretch. Guys...I seriously think we're getting Clapton on the farm.

Wiz isn't relevant, but Bonnaroo isn't always huge on relevance.

No matter how hard you try, nobody wants to get it. He's there and he's playing at a headliner time slot. Plain and simple. There are three headliners. He's going to be another option for people.

The three headliners are Kanye, Jack White, and Elton John. Insider has a history of referring to pre-headliners as headlining acts. Lionel Richie will preheadline.
I found it on twitter, it looks half-quasi-kinda legit. So Elton, Kanye, Jack White... Avetts are #4? That's where I lose a little faith.
It's just a very clever fake with some good guesses based on prediction that's been going on for a while around here. No Lionel Richie or Phoenix is a pretty big giveaway
