No matter how hard you try, nobody wants to get it. He's there and he's playing at a headliner time slot. Plain and simple. There are three headliners. He's going to be another option for people.
The three headliners are Kanye, Jack White, and Elton John. Insider has a history of referring to pre-headliners as headlining acts. Lionel Richie will preheadline.
This is why im still holding out hope for a Outkast late night slot on friday. Before anybody says anything, i know its unlikely and they play poland sunday, but im keeping the dream alive until the release.

So I posted that thing about Kanye not playing due to a close friend knowing his tour dates. I posted that before I saw insiders confirmation. I got a text from my friend this morning saying "Kanye JUST changed his European tour dates and is now open for Bonnaroo, but knowing Kanye, something better could come up and it'll change in 5 minutes"
I'm very confused on how this is possible. I'm completely on board with Kanye playing, but when was this decision made if scheduling is just getting his updated your dates today and is still not set in stone according to my friend?

Hows it possible? Well easy, either your friend doesnt know as much as he wants you to believe, or you made it up.
So is Bonnaroo not 1 of 40 festivals that's getting Outkast?! I'm surprised, even with Kanye on the bill.

Then I'll say it's happening. That's our 4th name. Late-night after Jack White, either Friday or Saturday. I'm guessing Elton is Sunday, and Kanye is whenever it works for his schedule. I can't imagine Kanye and Outkast on the same night. It seems like it could be a hip hop heavy year (I'm okay with that, but I need a folky/jammy balance).

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
So Sunday or Friday more likely? I would love for them to open up for Kanye.
I don't think they'll pre-headline the What with VW/Phoenix/Lionel Richie/Avetts all going to be there. Which closer makes the most sense.
Also in that mix is a potential Superjam. I think Vampire or Avetts should close the Which, that's a big spot. Lionel before Elton on Sunday would be a good time.

I think that would be a good time too, but he is playing Chicago on Sunday.
If Lionel is truly there as a "4th headliner", I have a feeling this will be a reprise of the Stevie Wonder/HOVA schedule from 2010. Lionel from 7-9, Yeezy from 10-12...or something along those lines.

because insider said the actual word NO for NIN when she said highly "likely" for Kanye
To clarify: If Ninch Inch Nails is gonna be there, I don't know about it. I meant to only say no in the context of the '4th headliner' I was referring to. I could never say for sure someone won't be there.......I'm just confirming the acts I know will be there. As far as Kanye not being there, I can promise you that he will be announced tonight - of course, what happens after that is up to Kanye.......but I think he's become a little more professional since our last encounter with him.....
