Hmmmm interesting. The first multi-day festival on this site since Woodstock. I saw John Mayer there this summer and it's an awesome venue with the same traffic issues it had in 1969
After going to TomorrowWorld, I'm pretty certain I will attend this fest. Only thing holding me back from committing is a family vacation being planned around that time, and dates are not yet locked
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
2014 Festivals:
Ultra Music Festival Buenos Aires
A State of Trance Buenos Aires
Ultra Music Festival Miami
EDC Las Vegas
Bonnaroo
Electric Forest
Lollapalooza

Yeah, doesn't spark my interest at all. When I read it was at the original Woodstock grounds it confused me, because there is another festival being held (actually tentative) on the Woodstock grounds. I forgot that there have 3 different locations where Woodstock had been held in NY.
Went to this fest last year...VERY nice production, grounds, vendors, camping, etc. However, the crowd this fest attracts will make you want to blow your brains out. I don't think I saw one female without a flower crown and high-waisted jean shorts or one guy that wasn't wearing a jersey/tank of some type...the constant trains of people cutting to the front...girls on shoulders doing hearts with their hands...it was just atrocious.
BUT, you will be able to get a VERY good spot for LCD, the fest only sells 23k tickets and last year only sold 18k of them. If the fest attracts a similar demo I can't imagine you having a hard time getting close, this is not an LCD type crowd at all. I'd recommend doing a day pass, they can be slightly expensive but it's better than spending the whole weekend there, especially when G Eazy and Major Lazer are the other headliners.
