Farm Aid is coming to Raleigh, North Carolina's Walnut Creek Ampitheater on September 13th, and this year Jack White will be joining board members Willie Nelson, Neil Young, John Mellencamp and Dave Matthews on the bill. Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Jamey Johnson, Delta Rae, Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, Carlene Carter, Pegi Young & The Survivors, and Insects vs Robots are also playing.
So proud to see Farm Aid is taking place in my home town. I'm a huge Neil Young and Jack White fan. However, Walnut Creek is an awful venue. Happy to go, but they could have found a better place for the show.

I've lived all over the state... my time in Durham ended with me getting robbed at gunpoint at Southpoint, and my car getting broken into while I was at a Bulls game... Some people may like that city, but I'll just stay away from here on out.

Pretty sure that Johnny Cougar's cub is playing football at Duke. He probably thinks that whole area is Durham.
Durham, like most towns, has good and bad areas. I wouldn't expect to get robbed at gunpoint at Southpoint, but I suppose we should be prepared for that just about anywhere. The last time I had jury duty, 3 of our 12 had been held up at gun point in Winston-Salem.
