Do any of you fine folks know where I could find a list of all the superjams? Like a history of every one that has happened, with the artists, setlists, etc? Thanks in advance for any help. (Yes, i have used the Google, if perhaps inadequately...)

You sure about this? I don't think Jim James was there in '06. Maybe I'm missing the sarcasm, but obvi can't tell.

you sure about that 2010 superjam? pretty sure i'd have remembered Gibby and uncle AL on the farm the first year i was there
edit:: nevermind, obviously a joke.... and a pretty mean one at that
edit 2:: that was a pretty ridiculous amount of energy to put into a fake post. and 2 fake dead kennedy tributes

Nah, there are enough mean jokes on this board. My intention was only to get a few laughs.
Although I do think there are some pretty good ideas on my list.

This is what wikipedia shows: 2002: Michael Kang (violin and electric mandolin), Bela Fleck (electric synth-banjo), Jeff Raines (acoustic guitar), and Robert Randolph (pedal steel guitar) 2003: Dr. John (grand Piano/hammond b-3 and vocals), Mike Gordon (bass) Luther Dickinson (guitar and vocals), Stanton Moore (drums) 2004: George Porter (bass), Stanton Moore (drums), and Eric Krasno and Neil Evans of Soulive (guitar and keyboard). 2005: Herbie Hancock (keyboard), Pino Palladino (bass), Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson (drums), Lionel Loueke (guitar) 2006: Trey Anastasio (guitar), Mike Gordon (guitar), Phil Lesh (bass), Marco Benevento (organ, keyboards), Joe Russo (drums) 2007: SuperJam feat. Ben Harper John Paul Jones (musician) and Questlove 2008: The surprise SuperJam was composed of Les Claypool on bass/vocals, Eugene Hutz (guitar/vocals), Sergei Ryabtsev (violin), Oren Kaplan (guitar), and Yuri Lemeshev (accordion) of Gogol Bordello, and Claypool's touring drummer (and Cake member) Paulo Baldi on drums. They were later joined by Kirk Hammett of Metallica on guitar for three numbers. Hammett was introduced by Claypool as "some guy that used to sell me weed back in high school." The set consisted of eleven Tom Waits covers ("Russian Dance" was performed twice, the second time as an encore), along with a single Claypool song, "D's Diner". And New Orleans Superjam led by George Porter, Jr. 2009: The previously annual Superjam did not take place, and for the first time in Bonnaroo's eight year history, not a single The Grateful Dead member performed at the festival. 2010: None 2011: Superjam ft. Dan Auerbach and Dr. John 2012: Superjam ft. ?uestlove and very special guests 2013: Superjam with RZA, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Schoolboy Q, Solange, Chad Hugo, featuring Lettuce plus Special Guests, Rock n' Soul Dance Party Superjam featuring Jim James with John Oates, Zigaboo Modeliste, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Ed Helms' Bluegrass Situation Superjam with Special Guests
Again. It's from wikipedia. So who knows how correct it is.
I've always considered Daryl Hall and Chromeo in 2010 to be a Superjam.
the only reason why I never did, was because chromeo did a "live from daryl's house" episode and it became pretty popular, and Daryl Hall really liked the guys.

It's almost as much of a superjam as the Les Claypool/Gogol Bordello show in 2008. Once in a lifetime show (probably). I was listening to Chromeo today and wishing I'd been at the show. A good spot for LCD soundsystem was more important to me though. So I accidentally ended up front row at Bassnectar before hand which I knew almost nothing about. I still don't really know what happened for that 90 minutes.

I went to Black Keys. I barely remember any of that show except that I was completely entranced. This is confirmed by the one piece of evidence from that night.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

It looks like your soul is being sucked out by a dementor....
So I know this may sound a bit ridiculous concerning they have done it quite a bit of times, but any of you guys think that the superjam could have a strong Led Zep part if it includes john paul jones? Considering Led Zep just rereleased remastered Zep albums with extras?

Plant will be in Europe during Bonnaroo.
Well I didn't mean having the remaining members of Led Zep there, I meant just JPJ with the addition of whoever else is playing the ?jam

Im thinking the superjam? will include JPJ and/or Umphreys and not Jack White.
I think I've said it elsewhere, but a set of Umphreys doing covers with special guests would be a fantastic superjam. Would not be difficult to pull off since they know like five million covers already.

I really think someone (Jake) from umph will be/should be in this superjam. I would love to see some kind of jam dance party happen, but it will probably end up being some kind of blues jam thing. Which I'm completely fine with btw.

Although, there is already a jam dance party so best of both worlds =)

I doubt that they would do another Led Zep Superjam.
I could see him being involved and playing a few of their tunes but not as LZ-centric as 2007.

I dont see them doing 2 led zeppelin superjams but its been 7 years. I can def see a superjam with a JPJ involved Zeppelin block of songs ala Sly and the Family Stone block last year
I guess thats what I meant. But all of this makes sense.

Umphrey's could just cover a whole album for the Superjam too. A classic one like Animals or OK Computer. It'd probably take them like 20 minutes to figure it all out.
