There is going to be a new music festival in Franklin called the Pilgrimage at the end of September. The lead singer of Better Than Ezra is putting it together. hopefully, they can put together a decent lineup.
Testament and Exodus at the Cannery tomorrow night. And Pokey Lafarge at Mercy.... what a combo. People watching at its finest. (I'm not going to either, bf is going to Testament & Exodus, I just find it funny).

Widespread Panic tix are $49.50 each. Not sure if it has to do with the band or Live Nation but that's pretty cheap compared to what I've paid to see them at other venues.

Got tickets to the first night of Jason Isbell's 4 night run at the Ryman. Holy crap did those things sell fast. My wife logged in right at 10:00 with a party of 8 of us wanting to go to Saturday. Couldn't get 8 at all. By the time she tried two groups of four at 10:15, she couldn't get those. By 10:20, there weren't even 2 seats together. Finally four of the eight of us got 2 sets of 2 seats apart from each other on Friday. Anyone else going?
"Roux said he was surprised by how easily Live Nation was able to book up the venue. According to the company's contract with Metro Parks, Live Nation can operate up to 30 events. Tickets will average approximately $50 with reserved seating costing in the range of $200 and open lawn seating costing as low as $20, Roux said."
