Dear God, pleeeeeeease be clipping.
Really hoping for LE1F. I haven't gotten around to listening to many records from this year, but the Hey EP is my favorites, so far

St. Vincent on SNL tonight if anyone wants a taste of the epicness that is to come. I'm so incredibly excited for St. Vincent > Spoon. Might end up being a highlight of the weekend.
This is an older on from a few years ago. I can't find a more recent one with all the venues.
The CAM is on the corner of Martin and Harrington. The Longview Center is the corner of Person and Hargett St. There is another venue near Fletcher Opera House (called Kennedy Theater), just behind Memorial Auditorium.

Work permitting, I'll also be going to Transfigurations. That lineup is great and I'd love to make another trip to Ashville. Plus, one day is on an island in the middle of a river.
I know I'm in for the island day. I'm holding out till I can see a schedule and day tickets before I commit to anything else. This will put me in North Carolina for a solid week between Transfigurations > Outer Banks > Hopscotch.

Have they said anything regarding who will be playing the island?
Ticket price includes a $20 gift certificate to Harvest and a screenprinted poster (also, a bag, which I am starting to get a large collection of/don't know what to do with.) Pretty dope.
I wish. Mountain Xpress had a blurb about it: "To me it’s the perfect concept,” says Capon. He envisions Daptone Records soul singer Lee Fields performing as the sun sets." So I'm assuming Lee Fields, at least.
Songkick has Mudhoney at The Grey Eagle on Friday. Take that with a grain of salt though.

Damn. Lee Fields at sunset on an island would be magical.

"Along with our initial lineup announcement in April, and the additions of De La Soul and The War on Drugs, we will announce the final club performers for Hopscotch 2014 in two weeks."
Really hoping the reason Sharon Van Etten is skipping North Carolina on her tour is because she's one of those additions. In Fletcher Opera Theater would be unreal.
I feel like they just played a few years ago but I'd welcome them back with open arms.
They played two years ago. Friend I was with wasn't feeling The Roots, so we went to YAITW. They were excellent. Been wanting to catch them again, but they don't play in the Triangle much
