Thank you for putting the dates up there because I was about to do the same. From the moment the news came out about the blood clot but they said they were still playing Bonnaroo, I looked at it as them genuinely wanting to play those shows, not anything else. We even discussed it on the drive up that until we see them on stage, we couldnt be sure because Bonnaroo would have been the first show back on the tour.
Also, lets just give Memphis the benefit of the doubt for a second even though the dates prove otherwise already. You cant count the number of times that AFTER he had the blood clot, people said I am buying my tickets to Bonnaroo NOW and ONLY because I want to see Mumford? Thats just a poor decision by anyone. Very few people ever buy a 4 day festival ticket just to see one band play for 90 minutes one night and in this case that band was in the middle of a tour. This wasnt like Stevie Wonder playing only a handful of festivals in 2010. Why wouldnt these people choose a less expensive (even if on stubhub) ticket to a one night show somewhere else to see Mumford? Why wouldnt they pick a date weeks later when they could be more sure of his health? If they had the luxury of already knowing of the blood clot as you are saying, there would be so many reasons to choose a date other than Bonnaroo to see Mumford.
