Haha, I think I'll be able to pull it togeher (I can fly for next to nothing, if all else fails), but gas is going to be like $320 if I have to take it all on my own shoulders. The girlfriend decided no, all my friends who were considering coming in to Denver and driving with me have flaked, and I'm left hanging! I don't smell all that bad, I have a nice vehicle, and am itching to make the drive down. It's just that 32 hours of driving (roundtrip) by myself and that gas issue I've already mentioned don't make it all too appealing!
Haha, don't feel too bad! I have a ride -- I just need to find somebody who wants to ride with me to help offset the crazy gas and 30 hours of driving! I mean, I'm going to come either way and will suck it up if I have to. That said, it would be soooo much easier with another passenger. I'm exploring the possibility of tagging along with another couple of folks, but I had my heart set on driving myself. I have one buddy who is on the fence, but I'm sure he'll balk.
Well, now my plan is flying into either Indianapolis or St. Louis, renting a car, and driving on down! I'd lock this thread, but in case there are any other Denver folks (which if they start showing up now I'm going to kick them in the grapes) looking to hook up I'll keep it going.

;DJust happened to stumble on this site.... I live up by Fort Collins and i need someone to ride with too. if anyone is down to split costs give me a call so we can work something out. I thought i wasnt going to make it but this gives me hope!!
