Prime example of the radio clues not being completely useless. I saw the pic and was like "Hay bale? Can't think of any music related hay ba---Oh hell no! Not Haystack." Haha! I'm going with the Sleigh Bells or Broken Bells guesses, cuz I'd be happy either way there.

I think Haim , because Haim "MAY sound similar to the photo". It would if you mispronounce it.
Edit: to clarify, I think "May" is a keyword in the radio hint. To me that means it's possible under certain plausible circumstances. It's possible that Haim sounds like hay under the plausible circumstance of mispronunciation.

This is really being overthought... it's a picture of hay- it looks like a seat...
hay seat, sounds like Hay Seed... Hayseed Dixie has open dates for like 10 days leading to Roo... Hayseed Dixie confirmed.
BOOM.
Just want to add... this would be the perfect Roo addition. Between their originals and covers, fun for everyone.
EDIT, just noticed some updated tour dates- they are free during roo, but its like a 20 day break between dates in Europe... Still possible, but less likely... :/

Yeah, I'm pretty sure these people are too broken down from how impossible the clues used to be. They're pretty obvious so far this year (5 is rough though).
yes, Sleigh Bells sounds closer to Hay Bales than Broken Bells does, but you would never get to that conclusion without the radio clue, whereas "Broken Bales" still makes sense. Also, I think it's important that it is a broken up bale and not just a picture of a regular one. I just think the radio hint was to help you realize that the name wasn't a 100% literal interpretation of the clue and the Sleigh Bells guess seems to rely to heavily on the radio hint. Not saying I'm right, but I don't think Sleigh Bells makes enough sense to discount all other options, which in my opinion are just as feasible

That's certainly my second guess, but it doesn't really look like a broken bale. Looks like 1, fully in tact hay bale, and the scraps of hay that fell off of the other bales laying around it. I feel like needing to infer that it's broken in this picture wouldn't really fit the other clues. If it's a more complicated clue, it's probably broken bells. But I really get the feeling they're making these as easy as possible.
