Probably the most unexpected Headliners possible. I think if it ends up happening this will be an AMAZING Roo! I personally think that OutKast won't be there. So instead of OutKast who do y'all think could be the 3rd headliner? Leave realistic answers.....we already know we're not getting Daft Punk (sadly). *w^
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

What was the Roo Clue yesterday if not Outkast. It was a picture of a bale of hay and then someone said the radio clue was something to the extent of "it's not the bands name" so I thought "Hey Ya" aka Outkast

I personally and STRONGLY believe Outkast will be there, just not as a main headliner (billed 4th most likely). To me is makes SO much sense for bonnaroo to book both of them. Since Outkast is basically a given in the festival circuit this year, hip hop fans are going to be looking for more than that to decide their festival plans, and I imagine Outkast + Kanye would be a deal maker. Like a "buy one get one free" when the other fests are all selling hip hop headliners at full price. Good business IMO.
I understand that "bonnaroo hates Kanye" or whatever, and I don't think that's an unreasonable sentiment because that seems to be the majority response in terms of posts, but if you look at the "will you be at Kanye's set" poll, it's pretty clear that bonnaroo isn't going to take an attendance hit because of it.
In the end it's about money, and this year Kanye + Outkast is HUGE, so smart on roo in my opinion.
OK, so I have one question here, and i would imagine that it has already been answered, but I didn't see it, when I browsed through the headliner thread...

I would love Elton John to headline, I am a big fan of his music, and he is pretty high up on my concerts to see list. <kanyerant>On the other had, I would rather wander around bfe, picking my nose and drinking a camelbak full of wook urine than watch a kanye west concert. Putting aside how shitty of a human being he is, I have never found a song of his that I really like. I hear people call him "the greatest artist of his generation", or "one of the top musical acts in the world", and all I can do is shrug my shoulders. I will give Kanye credit when it comes to producing, what music of his I have sampled has always sounded good, atleast until he starts talking/singing/rapping... His voice and delivery just seem bland, and his lyrics, at least in what I have listened to, range from pompous nonsense to complete garbage.</kanyerant>
So, yeah, does anyone else thing that this whole insider thing could be a troll? I would love to go to bonnaroo this year, regardless who is playing, but I don't know how likely it is, having a wife and kid and all.
I was pretty sure that she deleted her account some time after the 2012 lineup dropped, but I could be wrong there. I actually had a favorite on my home computer that went directly to her profile page on inforoo, and I went to check in in december 12 / january 13 and it didn't find a user by that name. In the past, if someone guested their account, then came back, the mods had the ability to link their previous posts back to their account. Does anyone know if a mod did this, or if I am just mistaking, and the account has existed all this time?

i'm sorry, i'm sort of confused... isn't there a thread for this? like a place where we discuss headliners? like maybe the omnibus headliner thread? i can't keep track of more than one headliner thread sorry.
