I hope just one person enjoys my hoopster snaps 1/10th as much as I have enjoyed taking them.
What a fun day of perfect pusdy/deafheaven and earl sweatshirt/schoolboy q.fun crowds today. Tonight is going to be to be nuts.
I've been enjoying them quite a bit!
How was earl?
He's funny as hell. I watched him with Billy. Even with as much as I liked his set, I think he still wasnt as good as Pusha (who was 20 minutes late), Schoolboy or Kendrick.

Nice. It looks like he's still on for FYF, so hopefully I'll get to check him out soon.
Out of the other 3 you mentioned I really enjoyed 2 of them, so that's promising. I saw Schoolboy's last tour stop on that particular leg and you could tell he was tired. Plus the misogyny was a little thick that night.
I had a great first experience at Pitchfork. I hit a wall Sunday evening, and left a couple songs into Real Estate. I really wanted to see Kendrick, but decided that I wanted to go home and see my family more. It also doesn't help my son had me up by 7 am on both Saturday and Sunday.
I read on the handout that they strive to make Pitchfork the most convenient festival in the world, and they do a great job.
Full sets I saw
St. Vincent Cloud Nothings Pusha T Wild Beasts Danny Brown Beck Perfect Pussy Tune Yards Earl Sweatshirt
(This is how I would rank them, but I enjoyed them all)
partial sets:
Sun Kil Moon Giorgio Moroder NMH Isaiah Rashard Deafheaven Schoolboy Q
4. I got one taco and one bottled water from the Chipotle VIP and left. There was a huge line of people waiting to get in who didn't win. I have no idea why someone would wait an hour at a music festival for a free taco. I don't understand the line for Ben & Jerry's at Roo either so maybe it is just me.
FWIW, the Ben and Jerry's line is the quickest line at Bonnaroo. There could be 50 people in line and you'd still get your cup of ice cream in under 5 minutes. We stopped and got one one the way into Centeroo every day this year.
Glad everyone had a great time! Watching the live stream was a blast.
1. Slowdive (tie) 1. Grimes (tie) 3. Twin Peaks 4. Neneh Cherry 5. Perfect Pussy 6. Empress Of 7. Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks 8. KA 9. Kelela
Due to the Blue Stage running behind, I showed up late to Schoolboy Q. That shiz was a party. I also couldn't stand up for St. Vincent. I left a few songs into each of the headliners due to exhaustion.
and f*ck you guys. Dum Dum Girls were great.

The rest of Friday got weird. I met a girl talking about the band GOAT of all things. Left during Sun Kil Moon and missed Giorgio Moroder, Beck, and the Wild Beasts/Mutual Benefit after show to see the LCD Soundsystem cover band instead. Missed a lot of things I wanted to see, but it was a good night.

Reasons I know I am a music nerd #340: In a race between seeing Beck and having "a good night", I am really not sure what the right call is.
I didn't see a bad set all weekend but my top five sets were 1. Beck 2. Wild Beasts afershow at Lincoln Hall 3. F.K.A Twigs 4. Slowdive 5. Sharon Van Etten
At first I was disappointed that Pusha was late. I walked away from the stage after 20 minutes of waiting forcing myself to accept the fact that one of my most anticipated acts was going to be a no-show. I grabbed a bite to eat and took a seat near the vendors. Then I finally heard him come on stage, picked up my gear, and ran over there to catch the set, which was one of the most memorable sets for me. I chalked up the late start to some kind of difficulty with getting him to the stage, or figured he only had a half hour worth of quality material and all was forgiven.
Then I noticed how Danny Brown, Isaiah Rashad, Earl Sweatshirt, and Schoolboy Q all sent their DJs out first to get the crowd in the mood. So it made me wonder if Pusha just didn't want to do that, or if maybe there was a problem with the equipment.
I could only end up going Saturday and Sunday. So, my five favorite shows are as follows: 1. Jon Hopkins 2. Earl Sweatshirt 3. Grimes 4. The Field 5. The Range
