No PH could be mistaken to mean NEUTRAL (as opposed to acid or base). I know that's not chemically correct, but a lot of people think that. The Shining is famous for being at the Overlook HOTEL First two songs on In The Aeroplane Over The Sea are The KING of Carrot Flowers

Ah - okay, so The KING of Carrot Flowers - has THREE PARTS (you know, like the clue) and what helps you not need glasses (allegedly)? Carrots.

I dont understand why people care if its Third Eye Blind, they are a 6th line band at Firefly. Its not like they will be unopposed headliners or late night, who cares if you dont like them its one less daytime conflict.

Because that's a waste of a spot that could go to someone decent.

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

It's CSN cause the shining came out in the same year the album CSN came out. CSN goes with the whole 3 parts things. Stephen was def the king of the group. CSN is considered to be a very well written album. Which includes a song called dark star which kind of ties in. Also they're on tour this year. That's my flawed bro logic anyway. Sorry for the ironic /thread
Sent from my iPhone from my works bathroom while I poop.
Sic is a literature term and is often used in the Dewey decimal system. Since it's a book. That's a shot?
errr... it's used to point out that the author see's the mistake but is leaving it in for whatever purpose, often to maintain an original authors work.
So they put the sic in there to make sure you know the "misspelled" Steven would be left alone to keep the clue in tact. Glasses and shining. I don't know
I am awful at these things but the glasses are making me think of Lisa Loeb...
her latest album is called "No Fairy Tale", and a horror book would not be a fairy tale. I don't think there's anything to tie in the misspelling though.

I was just researching her. Trying to make her fit with the clue. Along with Elvis Costello and Weezer. I had the biggest crush on Lisa back in elementary school. I loved her so much, and got shit for it all the time.
The "three parts to this clue" part tells me it's either a band with three members or three names in their band name - Crosby Stills and Nash, Medeski Martin and Wood, etc. Don't know how either of those bands would fit though, or if any others would work.
