I have reason to believe that a Nickel Creek reunion is in the works. They posted a photo of themselves in silhouette on Facebook and have stated that a big announcement is forthcoming. If they tour, any chance Bonnaroo happens? Theyve played before.
They just confirmed on Facebook that there is a tour and new album coming! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for them to play bonnaroo since they said they'd be playing some upcoming festivals. I'm guessing they can't announce if they are playing roo until the lineup is announced.

Are there a lot of instances from the past of acts with upcoming Ryman shows being on the Bonnaroo lineup? I know some acts play Nashville the spring/summer that they play Bonnaroo (i.e. Jim James and Father John Misty last year), but it doesn't seem to be the case with larger acts (e.g. those large enough to play the Ryman 2 nights in a row).
My instagram name is Nickellback (because my last name is Nickell) and you would be shocked how many times I've been tagged and cussed out by idiots who think my page is actually the band Nickelback's. Or people tagging me when they're at a nickelback concert. My favorite is when I commented on The XX's instagram and said you guys need to come back to Ohio and some dude commented back to me and said "Fuck you they're never gonna back with a damn nickelback fan requesting them. I would rather listen to someone fart in a microphone for 2 hours than listen to nickelback. Why don't you move out of your mom's basement you loser."
