I'm in dire need of a ride to roo this summer. I think driving to tenn. would be the final blow for my car. I'll chip in for gas, food, hotel....whatever. I'm in connecticut but I am willing to hitch a ride from surrounding areas =(NY, MA, RI). Also, I have a potential extra ticket if anyone is interested.
Good luck with finding a ride. If I were driving, I'd help you out. I had knee surgery back in January, so I can't handle being in a car for 15 hours, plus I don't think my car is up to the challenge either. So I'll be driving down to Jersey from CT and using my frequent flyer miles to get out to Roo.
we are leaving from the amherst/northampton area of mass some time on thursday. The plan is to go straight through to TN and then stop for a couple of hours of fishing and showering at a state park just outside the Smokies.
We are planning to arrive at least 3 hours before oysterhead, so if you need to be there for something before that, we may not be the best bet.
Car is a 05 bmw, so its good on gas, but any contributions in gas or kynd are apprecitated!!
