Kanye coming back shows a lot of moxy on his part. Bonnaroo will forgive his transgressions and embrace him, IF he blows the doors off the farm with a memorable performance. ...IF
How is something which is essentially an inanimate object going to forgive someone? Or are you referring to the organisers themselves? I think its clear that they've "forgiven" him. Or in the alternative, are you doing something obnoxious and referring to the general collective of patrons attending the festival as "Bonnaroo?" I'm still unclear as to why he needs the forgiveness of tens of thousands of people who in all likelihood were not affected in any way by his delay in taking the stage six years ago.
Don't call the vibez an "inanimate object," bruh, that's bad vibez.

This is one of the best lineups I've ever seen. Its strong all the way through and even though we figured most of it out before hand there are still plenty of surprises, espcially among the undercard. Did anybody expect going in Elton Kanye Jack and Lionel? Thats incredible to me. Screw the facebook crowd.
I am having a hard time deciding which song I am looking forward to hearing the most on the farm this year. If you take Kanye out of the equation it's probably "Pyramids" by Frank Ocean, assuming he plays it. Such an amazing song.

Ooh tough.
Rocket man - Elton Kanyes whole set, particularly a potential pusha t guest on runaway jack whites whole set Thinkin bout you - frank Help me lose my mind - disclosure Been listening to doses & mimosas by cherub lately and think it'll go over perfect at roo
The more I look at this lineup, the more I feel like its lacking something. It's hard to really put my finger on it but it just, it feels like its narrow in its genre spread. I'm not complaining really, because there is lots that I like on there. Just feels like something isn't there.

you know, that whole thing back in 08, from what i understand, wasn't all Kanye's fault.
Of course, its not popular opinion to put the blame on Bonnaroo, or Pearl Jam for that matter. Not saying he was not in any of the wrong, but he certainly wasn't alone.
I really hope he feels that he's got something to prove, or make up for. Would really make for a pretty special experience.
From what I recall readin' on the interwebs, where there is only truth and no lies, back in '08 after 'Roo it seemed Kanye was in Atlanta,GA the night of his show at some friend's birthday party. It's of my personal opinion that Pearl Jam may have played longer to cover time. But even then it took hours to get him on stage. HOURS. With no explanation. And then he had a meltdown on his blog or somethin'. I've talked with other friends of mine, some who were at that 'Roo, and we all hope he goes all out and steps up. Personally I probably will use his set to rest up fer the latenights. But if he is so much as five minutes late to the stage I imagine a huge #whereskanye or #kayneslateagain.
i heard the Atlanta thing was fabricated. But i cannot confirm. Most of the issues had to do with Bonnaroo assuring Kanye they had room to accommodate his stage, then just before it was too late, they realized it wasn't, and had to switch things around. If you read through Kanye's "meltdown" he touches on it. but im sure theres 2 sides to the story. I'm just trying to say its not ALL Kanye's fault.
I'm so bored of the Kanye discussion. I feel like its in every thread. Kanye is going to be there. His show will either be good or bad, just like every other artist who will be there this year. Because of the history between Bonnaroo & Kanye I see why it's a hot topic, but it's been beat to death.
I will check it out & I'm sure I'll have a good time... Can't we all just move on?

BUT WHY MOVE ON WHEN YOU CAN PISS AN MOAN ABOUT IT FOREVER?!

The Atlanta thing was not fabricated. He was at the Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash. Here's a link to some coverage of it:

There will always be something to complain about. If not Kanye, then I'm sure we'd find something.

Is that how those tags work?
Serious query: is there a reason you intentionally leave the "g" off words? Or spell "for" as "fer?" It's clearly not as though you're typing in a rush, as you take the time to add the apostrophe after every "n" which is lacking a "g," and generally use proper punctuation. I'm just curious as to why you go to all this effort to effectuate such mannerisms.
Agreed. It might be in the top 3 lineups bonnaroo has ever had imo. Very strong all the way through
Totall agree. My first time at 'Roo (I live in the SF Bay so I usually stick to Coachella/OSL), but I've been checking out the lineups for the last 4 years or so. 2010 was an insane lineup but every year since then its been meh. Really excited for this year, especially since there are tons of bands not on the Coachella lineup (Damon Albarn, Kanye, Elton John, Phosphorescent, Arctic Monkeys...). Since I'm not going to Coachella, kind of wished 'Roo had The Replacements but that is about it.
Looking at the early "Like" totals on the Bonnaroo app, is making me excited that a few of my must see acts may not be HEAVLY populated. I realize this is mostly false hope, but hope none the less.
