I really like Lauren Hill when she's not being a racist cunt
What?
I recall the late 90's when she said that she doesn't want white people listening to her music. I was a huge Fugees fan but she changed my mind. I don't accept hate in any form, life's too short for that nonsense. I like her music so we'll see, hopefully she's matured.

If I remember right she was quoted as saying she's rather have her kid starve then have white people buy her music. She obviously received a lot of backlash. I wasn't a huge fan before that and definitely wasn't after that. I wouldn't give her any of my precious Roo time anyway.
I'm going to assume that some of you are very young to not understand how big Lionel Richie is, the guy is a legend. If it were up to me he'd be billed a helluva lot higher than Kanye.
So what you're saying is we're going to pit for Lionel! Alright you don't have to beg I'll do it.
You know snopes is just a husband and wife that "researches" stuff on the internet. They aren't the end all be all on if something is true or not. Just saying.

Don't tempt me with a man date.
Overall I think the lineup is good, but not amazeballs. Hell maybe even great after I discover more of the undercard acts. But it's definitely enough to get me hyped!
Cut/Copy finally! Lionel Richie (his guest appearance in 2012 with Kenny Rogers was a highlight), Elton John, Cake, just more than my drunk ass can remember now.
Really the hatred on facebook is real lol people are going crazy on there
It doesn't matter the festival - whenever a lineup drops people are going to flip out on "said" festival's facebook page. It's as predicable as a CBS crime procedural.

True. It's happens to almost every festival. In the end, most to all of them won't show up.
Funkiest Dancer ... mentioned 25th on the lineup. What is this? I mean it should be more than just some contest right? Maybe a well-known funk band playing the music?

Don't even know what to say, my expectations have been blown out of the water. James Blake and Frank Ocean would have sold me by themselves. Bravo Bonnaroo, this is the best lineup you've put together ever.
Just to clarify, that wasn't actually Julian at BLAM, just an impersonation? I feel like some people here think it was actually him. I thought they were mocking him
I don't care for Kanye, can care less about Elton John & while w/ The White Stripes a worthy headliner (Jack White headlining solo maybe a stretch) I will more than enjoy his act. The line up looks pretty awesome! I would like The Knife, Bill Callahan & some other smaller acts, but otherwise it's pretty nice. While I don't normally listen to Skrillex, the little bit I was able to c of his last Roo set looked fun as hell. A nice surpising add. As were Frank Ocean n Okkervil River right before. Diggin the line up, & will b part of the early Saturday clusterquack on Saturday buying tix. #bestfest #roo

It was Taran Killam dressed up as Julian Casablancas.

I sincerely don't understand people complaining about Jack White as a headliner. He's one of the most influential artists of "our generation." He's already had an extremely successful career and doesn't really show any plans on stopping that. I think it's safe to say he is going to be considered a legend one day.
10/19/14-Phantogram
11/29/14-New Politics, Bad Suns
4/17/15-Hippo Campus, Night Riots, The Mowglis
5/1/15-Penn State Movin' On Music Festival-New Politics, Passion Pit, Big Gigantic, Big Sean
6/11/15-6/14/15-Bonnaroo!
6/21/15 - Paul McCartney
6/27/15-Halsey, Imagine Dragons
I was initially not too pleased with the lineup, but It's growing on me. Elton will be good even if I am, as usual, completely exhausted by Sunday night. Don't like Kanye, but I'll check it out. I doubt there will be any problems and the Kanye fans will love it. Jack White is cool, not sure if he's truly headliner level now, but whatever, it'll be a good show. I never cared for Lionel's solo stuff, but I loved the Commodores("Brick House" on the farm, think about it). We will all be singing and crying to "We Are The World". Arctic Monkeys, Vampire Weekend, and Phoenix are all good younger bands that could all be headliners in the near future. The Jambands are there in greater numbers than last year, I'm particularly looking forward to seeing White Denim again. I guess I will stop there, but there's some serious depth to this lineup. I hope to see everyone on the farm.
