He leaked.
The last time I saw, selfish dooshbags who didn't know how to mosh did suck things as jump onto my fking head, pushed from center stage to the left speaker and lifted their girlfriends to sit on the stage.
But at Bumbershoot, the crowd was energetic w/out the douchiness, so I'm sure this show will be AMAZING.

Ty Segall and I are good friends. He saw my Bonnaroo shirt and thought maybe he would perform there next year. He is a man of his word. Also, I made all of that up. However, I am incredibly excited to see him on the lineup and this show is 100% on my can't miss list.
This is a top 5 must see for me. I think the only thing i could possibly be more excited about, would be anything John Dwyer.
I will be on the rail for this show. Mark my words.
Last time I saw him he was touring with Thee Oh Sees. It was fantastic. It would be really awesome for Thee Oh Sees to be added and to give them a late night tent together, but I know Dwyer has mentioned they may not be touring in the near future.

Soooooo, I would imagine Ty Segall had to add a few fans after his performance at Coachella. It was by far the best show I have watched on the live stream thus far. And it was a day time stage show. A Thursday tent show at Bonnaroo should be incredible. Also, the three new songs they played sounded great.
Ty is one of those artists along with Portugal. The Man who I have seen a bunch of times and keep telling myself "eh, I've already seen Ty a bunch so I'll try to see someone else at this fest." Then I end up seeing Ty and it blows me away yet again.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
Am I the only one with unrealistic hopes that Mikal Cronin gets a Sonic Stage set or something like that? MCII is my jam.
That would be cool - I think it's more likely Ty Segall will get a slot and Mikal Cronin would front a couple songs then, or during Ty's actual set even.

If you didn't see this set, you missed out big time. My favorite set of the entire weekend. Probably set the record for most stage dives at Bonnaroo, too. Ty fucking killed it, but I didn't expect anything less. AWESOME!!!!

Awesome, awesome show! One of his friends that was constantly stage diving grabbed my arm as I was pushing him toward the front, apparently did not want to go that way, and ended up taking myself and a couple others down. And I loved every second of it.

another set where I caught about 6-7 songs and it was so awesome I have to see him again. Second time moshing of that night. Crowds were great for this and CN.

This set blew my mind! I had never seen him before, but I knew it was going to be good... But god damn Ty, I didn't know it was going to be life changing.
His facial expressions when he sang out "Bye Bye" during the first song, are forever engraved into my memory. That was the most fun I've had at a show since Thee Oh Sees.

Now I wish I really would have seen this show. I had seen him once previously and I would say it's the roughest show I've ever been to. Felt terrible Thursday night and decided to pace myself for the weekend, which probably wasn't the worst decision. How packed was the tent? And how was the setlist? A lot of Twins and Slaughterhouse stuff I'm guessing?

Yeah it was pretty heavy on Twins, Slaughterhouse, and Melted material. I knew we were in for a scorcher when he opened with Wave Goodbye. They also played 3 or 4 new songs that sounded great. I was up pretty close, in or near the mosh for the whole show so I don't know what the back of the tent was like, but the front was pretty packed and absolutely wild as all get out.
