Oh man....he was just announced. I'm so excited. I've never seen him live but loved watching him on Youtube and listening to his albums. Fingers crossed for a Jack White appearance.
I'm all for hoping ___ shows up at ___'s set, but I'm down for Seasick Steve on his own, and I'd almost kinda prefer it. This guy is a natural, he needs no sideshow. This is the closest I'll ever get to seeing Hound Dog Taylor.

Love me some Seasick Steve & together with JPJ will kick blues-lovin' ass! I've seen SS gig live once at the 2008 West Coast Blues and Roots fest, Freo, Western Oz. This dude is ahhh-mazing!

(1) Damon Albarn (2) Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds (3) King Khan & His Shrines (4) Ty Segall (5) Ms Lauryn Hill (6) Darkside (7) Kanye (8) Janelle Monae (9) Goat (10) Meshuggah.
This seems like a great show. But I'll probably chicken out and hide from the afternoon sun at Classixx and King Khan under a tent.
How do you all handle seeing shows on the What/Which stages in the afternoon? I usually skip them unless its a real must see with no conflicts. (See: Bjork, Kendrick Lamar from 2013 or Beach Boys from 2012). Otherwise I typically go with shade as the kicker when I have conflicts.
I normally side with the shade as well. This set will probably drag me out into the light though. I think I would have to kick my own ass if I missed this show.
Tip, at the what stage, go in the pit during daytime shows. The stage gives you shade and there is pretty much always plenty of room in the pit for early shows.
