Did not expect to see this back. Can't wait to see what acts they get for it and if they do the same setup as last year. Giving one tent all day on Sunday to these acts would be awesome to do again.

I keep hitting refresh on the lineup page to see if that will change, like it was some weird mistake. But you know what- I love it. Last year's was amazing! I'm totally there, front row, again this year.
I was really hoping to see nickel creek on there. I was really excited about yonder, but the rest of the lineup doesn't really seem like it has the personnel for a bluegrass tent all day.
Hopefully we see Sam bush or some part of the McCoury gang.

Definitely getting front row this year if it's the same setup as last year. Only made it in for the end of Noam's set through the end and got pretty damn close, front row should be easy for me. Last year bluegrass music was an interest of mine. Now it's an obsession.
I'll echo everyone and say that I'm glad they brought this back. I missed it last year due to a schedule conflict, so hopefully it pans out this year.
You saw David Byrne didn't you? I made one of my smartest Bonnaroo decisions that day, which was to skip them and see the Bluegrass Situation. It was one of my smartest decisions because i knew David Byrne & St. Vincent were playing around me the week after Roo and I knew I'd never see the BG Situation again.
Remember last year when we had the most amazing time at Bonnaroo? And we had that totally kickass lineup on the first ever Sitch stage, including Black Prairie, Aoife O'Donovan, Noam Pikelny & Friends, John Fullbright, Sam Bush and Del McCoury? Well guess what. WE'RE BACK FOR MORE.
The full Bonnaroo lineup was announced last evening during their BLAM! broadcast, and includes such varied headliners as Elton John, Kanye West, Jack White, Lionel Richie, Avett Brothers (!), Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, Skrillex, and The Flaming Lips. Our own stage will be taking place all day on Sunday, June 15, and includes some of our favorite emerging and progressive artists on the scene today, culminating in another all-star roots music Super Jam. Complete stage details and ticket information below. See you in Tennessee!
THE BLUEGRASS SITUATION BONNAROO STAGE -- SUNDAY, JUNE 15, 2014
• Sarah Jarosz
• Lake Street Dive
• The Black Lillies
• Shovels & Rope
• The Lone Bellow
• The Bluegrass Situation Super Jam hosted by Ed Helms
We were in there for the first few acts last year and it was a tough decision to leave. Everything was great and I kind of wish we had stayed for Sam & Del and the Superjam.

The only unfortunate part about this is that it'll be the same time as the Avetts. Classic Bonnaroo scheduling conflict :/

yea, they did it last year too when they had Aoife against Kacey Musgraves. I bet Carolina Chocolate Drops will be that day as well.
Missed this last year because I was at Tame Impala and then stumbled upon the secret Edward Sharpe show at the Solar Stage. Glad I have another opportunity.

Ok well that just made this superjam so much more exciting. Ed helms does some really great improv music, I never knew he was into blue grass. This should be sweet
I'm interested to see if/how lake street dive in incorporated into the superjam. I listened to them for the first time yesterday. They've got horns and more of a jazzy sound, surprised to see them with the bluegrass superjam tent.

Ah I'm so excited, the bluegrass tent was the BEST last year! I spent most of it sitting outside the swarm eating my lunch and just reveling in the sun and spirit of it all

Ed Helms (and The Bluegrass Situation) puts on a great show! You will love it.
I read somewhere once that Helms said he was only an actor to support his bluegrass addiction.
me and a buddy stumbled upon the hopeless wanderer video again this evening. so ed is homies with mumford & sons eh? got us talking. what better way to "make up" for the unfortunate cancellation than a surprise, random, one-off appearance here. shit would be crrray yo. and not unfeasible at all. callin it nowwww
