I was just thinking, with the new Trailer Park Boys movie coming out on 4/20 and a new season that they will be streaming on their new website, could a Trailer Park Boys set at the comedy tent be realistic?
Tune-Yards announced a new album and tour this morning, leaving plenty of space during the Bonnaroo dates and playing Firefly the week after...would love to see them added:
05-25 George, WA - Sasquatch Festival 06-01 Houston, TX - Free Press Summerfest 06-19 Toronto, Ontario - NXNE, Massey Hall 06-21 Dover, DE - Firefly Festival 07-19 Chicago, IL - Pitchfork Music Festival
I continue to be terrified of the inevitability of the additional conflicts there will be upon the addition of any and all artists I like. Though, in an ideal world: Tycho Suuns Simian Mobile Disco Royksopp Spoon Beck
So would Beck be the biggest addition ever? I think he'd have to be somewhere on the top two lines.
I can't remember any additions besides last years and Beck is definitely at least equal with Hip Hop Superjam.
The biggest addition was when they added Neil Young in 2003. With that being said I wouldn't expect anyone that big. I would say Beck would be placed before the Super Jams.
9-4 to 9-6 SummerDance Festival 9-20- St Paul and the Broken Bones 9-30 Ott 10-21 Emancipator Ensemble 10-22 ATB 10-23 W&W 10-28 STS9 11-18 Dan Deacon 11-21 The Werks/ Twiddle 12-4 Darude 12-8 The Revivalist 12-30 & 12-31 Decadence NYE (Denver) 1-17 Mr. Carmack 1-28 Yo La Tengo 2-9 TAUK 2-27 Lotus and Michal Menert 2-29 Beach House 3-3 to 3-6 Okeechobee Festival 5-9 King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard 5-23 DIIV

I am honestly afraid of the conflicts that adding these bands would cause to an already stacked lineup
Big G is still my favorite roo concert
I saw them in Cleveland last November and it was one of the best shows ive ever seen I can only imagine how amazing they would be in the late night Roo atmosphere

Unfortunately Suuns will be in Europe for their fest circuit during Bonnaroo
What happens if my tee shot lands on a bird's back and he carries it out of bounds but then is attacked by a larger bird who grabs the ball and drops it in the hole? Is that still a hole in one? 'Cause that's how I'm gonna play it.

When do they usually do the first round of additions? I still don't understand the lack if Beck, I mean yeah I'm biased, its the one artist I've wanted above all others since my first time at Roo. And being that he releases albums once everything like bagillion years I thought this was the years I'd get to see him, especially where he's playing Coachella, Firefly, Edgefest (whatever that is) and Pitchfork music fest, I thought for sure he'd be at Bonnaroo. I can't imagine its a money issue, he's not a huge star and he embodies Roo in a lot of ways, he can be folly, alt, poppy, depressing psychedelic synth, rap/princeish, etc. If he doesn't get added the world will be a sadder place.
