I'm pretty sure that the Dunwells are the worst band Bonnaroo has ever booked. They take the worst aspects of all of the folk pop bands, add in a few cheesy distorted electric guitar riffs, and make one collective pile of poop. Enjoy!

In highschool, the singer of Monster Truck's dog ate an entire bag of Oreos and his mom blamed it on me and his brother until the dog started puking up piles of black goo all over the back patio.

Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.

These are all cafe acts. Last year they added Django Django, Empire of the Sun, Solange, and more. Empire of the sun was a LN too. More acts will be announced. It'll probably only be like 5, but they'll be middle tier.

YES I am so happy/relieved. While I love Jack White and First Aid Kit other than that there wasn't much I cared for in the original lineup, but listening to a lot of these bands has me incredibly excited!

I thought in years past they did all the additions at the same time. Its about time we get the other people for the main lineup. Its been nearly 2 months since the initial lineup was announced.

Yep, but apparently this year they just gave us the whole main lineup on release day. We still have comedians coming. They also have come before the cafe acts in previous years.

The lineup was stacked from the beginning but I would be a little disappointed if there were no more additions to the stage lineup. The past two years I attended multiple addition artist shows. I was looking forward to adding at least one more band to my definitely attending list.
Last year them leaving a Tent empty during a late night and then announcing the hip-hop superjam like a week prior to Roo was probably the best artist addition in my 3 years of attending.
Edit: Listening to the Orwells and will hopefully be attending their Cafe Show, almost in the definitely list. Diarrhea Planet as well

In the past they have done a round of additions and a round of cafe act additions. Usually it's been more than one round of additions (though last year looks like they were all at once). I wouldn't be surprised to see some main stage additions. Not many....just a couple sprinkled in here and there.
If the rest of these club acts are anywhere near as good as the three I've seen live; Roadkill Ghost Choir, Skinny Lister, and Willy Mason; it's going to be a damn good year for the Club stage. Skinny Lister is in my Top Ten must see. Great band.

Just finished listening through all of them. If that folky stuff is your jam these are the ones to check out:
Jamestown Revival Bronze Radio Return Streets of Laredo Wild Child (a little cleaner cut, but quite good) Desert Noises The Saint Johns (like a slightly poppier Civil Wars) The Dunwells John and Jacob

Additions I am hype about: Animals as Leaders, The Bots, Cayucas, Goddamn Diarrhea Planet, Fly Golden Eagle, The Futures League, High and Mighty Brass Band, and Kins.
So pumped for Diarrhea Planet.... here are videos I did for their last 2 Nashville shows. Unfortunately I'll have to assume that the stage diving won't be allowed at Roo, but its so fun to watch. It was so awesome at the new year's show a few months ago that they opened with an "Eye in the Sky" jam.... and for people who haven't seen them...just watch a little of these videos... sick!

It's not so much that stage diving isn't allowed as it is not really feasible at either stage that they will be playing. On the other hand, at Valient Thorr two years ago, a guy climbed up onto the scaffolding over the Music Lounge and fell into the crowd that way, so it's possible.

The Deervana show a few years back had stage diving... granted there were only 50 people, and bodies were hitting the ground, but that didnt' stop them from jumping right back on the stage and doing it again. i think it was Sonic stage?

Hopefully I got the videos to embed... looking up "monster truck" in youtube can have varied results...and now for a sample of face melting (and yes, that's Deaner from FUBAR in the second video). Hope you all enjoy as much as I do!
Holy shit, I can't even tell you how happy that just made me!
Just a few days ago I was pining for Omar and Cedric to make music together again. And then you go and throw Flea into the mix too?!?
Ya, this news just made my week.
The song rocks IMO! I am very excited. I hope they get added to Bonnaroo and I hope a surprise LA show is in order. I will be keeping my ear to the ground on this one.
