Out of nowhere is this Hozier guy. He sounds alright, but he has crazy hype for some reason. He seems prime for a Thursday night slot. Anyone care to explain the appeal?
A friend of mine just saw Belle and Sebastian in New York the other day and he is the person whose musical opinion I trust most in the world and he said that show gave him chills several times that night and to be sure not to miss there show if I get a chance to see him. I'm just here to pass the word on to my fellow concert goers and express my increased desire to have them on the farm this year and my excitement that it seems likely that they WILL be there due to them recently announcing a new album out in January and a tour.
I saw them last summer. They put on a fun show, although they do the "get people from the audience to dance on stage" shtick, which unreasonably irritates me.
Apparently they're confirmed for Coachella next year, if that means anything for Roo.
Can totally see Belle and Sebastian in a closing tent slot, similar to Neutral Milk. If Lykke Li is still touring off her new album, she'd be a great fit for a James Blake/St. Vincent tent slot.
If roo can book an undercard remotely as good as 2014 I'll be so pumped. My big hopefuls are QoTSA / modest mouse/ beck/ action Bronson/ run the jewels/ future islands/ jungle/ Portugal, the man/ death from above 1979/ flume
