I assume you mean MMJ? And they seem to be the most likely group to be at Roo next year, I'm almost willing to bet on it.
or perhaps you meant all those groups, in which case, I STRONGLY agree, the only group I wouldn't be crazy about is Queens of the Stone Age because I already saw recently and I wasn't crazy about it.
i meant all of them. Other than Prince, Arcade Fire, Fleetwood Mac, Foo Fighters, Eric Clapton (top 5 must see acts for me in no particular order), Modest Mouse and QotSA are pretty high on my must see live before I die list. I'm hoping to cross one if not 2 of those names off my list in 2015.
Hopefully you get Clapton done soon cause he's about done

Where do you guys think Massive Attack would get billed. I like em but I'm just not educated on their popularity or anything like that.
This year's Corona Capital festival had them billed 3rd behind Jack White and ahead of Beck and Damon Albarn so I'd say it's safe to say they'd be in the top 15. I'm sure they'd be an incredible LN act, I'd love to see them on the lineup next year.

Thank you so much. I personally prefer Portishead (in the realm of early 90's trip-hop), but Massive Attack certainly is the far more likely of the two to be at Roo next year. I'd very happy to see them though (depending on the LN conflicts.)

I don't understand.
The only band out of the proposed pre-headliners that I don't really care for is QOTSA. That's because I saw them recently at a festival (and I've never been into them) and I didn't like the show very much.

Might be in here already, but can we get some love for SBTKRT? Maybe him and Raury both on the bill so they can do Higher together ala Disclosure - Latch?
Fat chance at any of these, but it would be nice: The Avalanches, Son Lux, Jessie Ware, London Grammar, Art Department, Now Now, A Fine Frenzy, The Dodos, Givers, Hundred Waters, Jon Hopkins, M83.

I could see Jessie Ware, Hundred Waters, and maaaaaybe Jon Hopkins.
Is it a sure thing that Portugal, the Man is playing ln this coming year?
Why would it be a sure thing? Have they posted they are or something? I think its possible they do but I don't see it for some reason. The only thing they've got going for them is the fact they've played bonnaroo 09, 11 and 13. So I can see the logic of them playin 15.
Music Midtown: 2011 Bonnaroo: 2012 - 2016 Forecastle: 2013 Rock al Parque: 2014 420 Fest: 2014-2018 Shaky Knees: 2015 - 2019, 2021 Seen tons of local shows since 2004.

i read somewhere in inforoo that in an interview the singer confirmed not only they were playing but they were getting a ln set. i didnt see the interview so i was kinda asking if anybody could actually confirm it.
with Rancid releasing a new album oct. 27 can we PLEASE get them on the farm this year. They would absolutely kill a tent slot at any time of day/night they're given.
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

I haven't seen said interview, because I'm not so sure it exists. What I think you're talking is that during their 2013 set (which was great and I believe weird al came out for part of it) one member of the band said they would come back and play LN set soon. So I think someone was talking about that and you read that they said they were gonna play LN and your logic told you it must have been an interview.
But I could be wrong, I hope they've confirmed it an interview because that would be a great LN. Sadly, I would probably miss it for another conflicting show.
A friend of mine just saw Belle and Sebastian in New York the other day and he is the person whose musical opinion I trust most in the world and he said that show gave him chills several times that night and to be sure not to miss there show if I get a chance to see him. I'm just here to pass the word on to my fellow concert goers and express my increased desire to have them on the farm this year and my excitement that it seems likely that they WILL be there due to them recently announcing a new album out in January and a tour.

I wouldn't say fat chance exactly, perhaps not all of these acts scream Bonnaroo but some could work. I think if M83 were touring that they would fit in as a Which closer or LN. The Dodos have been there before and could repeat, and I think that Jon Hopkins would work very well in the same way Four Tet did.
In no particular order I hope they book death from above 1979/ jungle/ run the jewels/ Portugal, the man/ queens of the Stone Age/ modest mouse/ tears for fears
