Ugh, I want to disagree with you SO BAD about Brand New because I love them so much, but I know you're pretty much right. Of the ~20 times I've seen them, I can count on one hand the shows that they were honestly great. One of those shows was this summer. They've gotten a lot tighter on stage.
But seriously, Brand New is awful at festivals. I've never seen them be into a festival set. Shit, at Bamboozle '07 they played "Degausser" twice (it was 7 song set, counting the duplicate song) because they were all pissy about their set time.
Haven't heard from them in quite some time. I know one of the members did a solo album last year (or this year?). Would love to see them again!
They played a show in NYC back in late September, but no word on anything else since then that I know of. They're definitely due for a new album/tour, and I'm sure they'd make for one hell of an evening/LN set at Bonnaroo.

That's fantastic news actually! Didn't realize they had played any shows in the past year or two. Really hoping they're gearing up for an album/tour. Even if 'roo doesn't get them, just hoping to see them again soon.

I dont think she is playing since that would make four shows in a row and the most she is doing on the other dates is two. Those dates do make her a lock for Governor's Ball though.

She was the worst at ACL. Off key, got off stage and didn't sing, but took selfies with audience and signed autographs. She sang her hits and that's about it. She talked her set away. Hate that.

I saw them at lolla '08 - I had just graduated HS at the time and had been a huge brand new fan throughout HS, so it was kind of a nostalgic thing for me to see them. the whole time they were yelling shit at the crowd like "why the fuck are you even here?" "you should get the fuck out and go see explosions in the sky on the other side" "I don't even know why you're here" "all of you assholes are just here to get a good spot for radiohead and don't even care"
needless to say, I left and discovered explosions in the sky. I would have been extremely disappointed, but discovering explosions was awesome.

Yeah, I've heard about that Lolla set before. It's a shame they behaved like that because it only hurts them in the end.

I want Busta with the Flipmode Squad! Tame Impala, Lana Del Ray, Smashing Pumpkins, Tobacco, Hilltop Hoods, Bliss n Eso( Those last 3 will never happen, but would make me so happy).. Portugal. The man Again!, Weird al again!, Weezer, Alt-j, Mark Ronson with someone, The War on Drugs, Hail Mary Mallon, Holy Ghost, Run The Jewels, Clap Your Hands and Say Yeah, Beck, The Horrors,EDM- (Feed me, Deadmau5,Flume, Datsik, Green Velvet, RL Grime, Royksopp) Sky Ferreira, Violent Soho, Parquet Courts, Deftones, Ghostface Killa, Jarren benton, Michal Menart with Live Band.... just some guesses...
She's playing Bonnaroo. The four dates in a row just ensures an extra-underwhelming performance.
I'm not saying she will be good/great (I don't listen to her music and don't know anyone who has ever seen her live) but she will only have played the day before, and fairly close to roo, so she shouldn't be too warn out at roo. However, by the time she play West Palm, she will be a dead fish on stage.
