I've heard multiple people (here and on Reddit) claim that Of Monsters and Men are touring the U.S. next spring. Does anyone actually have any concrete evidence that this is true? I know they're in the process of recording a new album, but as far as I'm aware they haven't announced any tour plans for 2015.
I can tell you that as of about a couple of months ago they were looking to book US dates in the Spring to support a new album. I don't know if they actually did, or if the album will be done in time, but the interest was there.
I'm calling it: Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga as PreHL's.
Was watching Colbert last night and thought the exact same thing, I wouldn't even be mad, especially if they both do a few solo songs and their stuff together.

They announced some summer tour dates on Monday. An exert from their schedule is as follows:
Thu 05/28/15 Concord, CA Concord Pavilion
Sat 05/30/15 Los Angeles, CA Hollywood Bowl
Mon 06/08/15 London, United Kingdom Royal Albert Hall
Tue 06/09/15 London, United Kingdom Royal Albert Hall
Drake * The Strokes * Bassnectar * Lana Del Rey The Decemberists * Weezer * J. Cole * Belle and Sebastian * Alabama Shakes Flying Lotus * Refused * Flume * TV On The Radio * Father John Misty Rick Ross * Future Islands * Bombay Bicycle Club * Caribou * Run the Jewels The Dodos * RL Grime * The War on Drugs * Jessie Ware * Mac DeMarco Xavier Rudd * Chromatics * Jungle * Justin Townes Earle * Temples Courtney Barnett * Makonnen * Hundred Waters * METZ The Weeks * Strand of Oaks * Pianos Become The Teeth * Raury
Actually, her tour dates are why some people are speculating she's a possibility for Bonnaroo. Personally, I would agree with you and believe those dates do not make her likely for Bonnaroo (but very probable for Sasquatch and Governors Ball).

Lesson #394: If they are touring in the continental United States and have at least one day open that falls in Bonnaroo, some people will argue you to the death that the tour dates don't rule them out.
I could totally picture Belle & Sebastian playing the Which Stage in the spot Chromeo had last year. And I'll be right there dancing along.
Great to see some love for Belle & Sebastian on this board in recent days. Although, I think they would be much better suited as a tent closer given their mellow sound. As thomwaits suggested, they would be perfect in the Neutral Milk Hotel spot from last year.

I saw them last year in Pittsburgh and they put on a show way more energetic and dancy than I ever imagined, so I definitely think they could hold their own on the Which Stage. That said, I'd probably prefer them getting that NMH slot like you said.

One of them tweeted a while ago asking which other bands would be on the festival circuit next summer with them. So I think even if they don't do a spring tour, they'll be at festivals. Especially Bonnaroo.

Ah, ok. Thanks for the info. I haven't had the chance to see them yet, so I'm hoping they'll be on the festival circuit next year.

If they do tour, I recommend seeing them in a venue. They're good at a festival, but amazing at one of their own shows.
