“Music has always been a matter of Energy to me, a question of Fuel. Sentimental people call it Inspiration, but what they really mean is Fuel. I have always needed Fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio.” - Hunter Thompson

Not sure if this has been said, but Belle and Sebastian have a June 10th date at Radio City Music Hall in NYC, prior to that they are in the UK. And thats the only tour date they have for June thus far.

Yeah, I'm really expecting them to be there this year, which makes me oh so happy (if there isn't a terrible conflict)

I love their new song.
I dig it as well. I'm extremely excited about the chance to see them because the guy who acted as my older brother when I was young and really helped guide my musical tastes to make sure I never listened to total shit saw them in NYC earlier this year and he said it was possibly the best show he has ever seen. And I hold his opinion on music above all others, so, with his love for their show, I'm sure they will blow me away

I love both new songs, and they are just one of those bands that are always good live, and you can count on them for a good time and not gonna lie I dance my butt off while they play.

Wait you WANT it to happen or you THINK it will happen?
Both haha. I read that they have a new album coming out, and will be doing some festivals in the USA next summer, let me try and find the link.
Okayyy, cause you can't just be running around, getting everyone's hopes up (especially mine) that massive attack will be blowing minds at Roo next year. If they aren't confirmed by the time BLAM rolls around, I'm going to squeal like a school girl when their name pops up on the screen.

There's nothing quite like that feeling when you see a name you never expected. I almost shit myself last year when Skrillex came up, then the superjam came up and I about died. There's a roo moment for ya

I lost it when I saw Nick Cave and Neutral Milk Hotel

Here's a definite want: Massive Attack recently played Pray for Rain with Tunde Adebimpe in LA. Book them and TV on the Radio and make it happen again Bonnaroo! Also, just for fun, book Tricky too cuz he has a new album out too. Now that would be a reunion I'd like to see!

Taking a look at Austin Psych Fests lineup, we could see some of those groups... Tame Impala for sure I think. Jesus and the Mary Train late night Psychocandy, Fuzz, Spirtualized, The Black Angels, Thee Oh Sees, or Mac Demarco..
kendrick lamar has never quite been up my alley in terms of music style, but OMFG. I just got blown away by his colbert performance last night.
Because he's fucking amazing. The way he goes about his music is why I like him so much. He saw what his problems were and he has done his best to fix them and from what I've heard and what I saw on Colbert, he definitely has improved ALOT!!! I've always liked his music but hated his live shows (I've said it a thousand times, the key to putting on an exceptional hip hop show is to have a live band backing you up.) Btw, I heard that bought pretty an entire album of beats from Flying Lotus for his new album because he digs FlyLo so much, so that explains part of the reason you like new Kendrick so much.
Also, did you see/recognize who was playing bass in the group for Kendrick?!?!
