Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I feel you on that, but when they release the LN acts they always include Thurs-Sat.
is that true? I don't remember Ty Segall being on the LN announcement last year, and his was the last set to end Thursday night. Maybe I missed it.
Whether or not they count the last Thursday shows as LN or not, read my post closely and you'll see that I refer to the slot as "late Thursday" (not "latenight"). I was trying to say they should be one of the LATER ACTS on Thursday (like Ty Segall) because I agree with you on the difference between closing a tent on Thursday and playing LN on Friday/Saturday

(I will probably get a lot of shit for this but oh well.)
Nicki Minaj just released her third studio album, The Pinkprint. The European leg of The Pinkprint tour wraps up at the end of April and she will be continuing the tour in the United States, with dates to be announced. Think she could make it to the farm? I'm genuinely curious what everyone thinks because I've not really seen it discussed. I know most of you probably aren't fans, but I love her and her music and think she would be a great upper-tier rap act on the farm, especially with the greatness of her newest album.
2014:
April 05 - Twenty One Pilots
May 15 - Lana Del Rey
May 30 - Why?
June 12-15 - Roo '14
June 24 - Arctic Monkeys
September 05 - Twenty One Pilots
September 23 - Lorde
September 26 - Why?

You hoping for Minaj/Drake/Nickelback headliner lineup? Seriously tho if you're a fan she's on this week's cover of Rolling Stone. I haven't read the article. And I like your courage. Hell I used to sing along on the car radio with Rupert Holmes Escape (Piña colada song). Don't deny your feelings. You feel what you feel about music. Fuck everybody else. Just don't squash on their shiz while you're at Roo She might fit in the bill like Charlie xcx a couple years ago. Which I actually wandered into while she was covering an old Stones tune.
Oh god no, those headliners sound roughhhhh haha. I know shes 'mainstream' or whatever, and even though she's a huge name I don't think she would headline (although I would be super cool with it, lol). Yeah I saw the Rolling Stone cover, what a baaabe haha. I need to read the article soon. I just really love her rap, and she's undeniably the biggest female in the game right now, and IIRC she's done a few festivals before. I know that Roo usually has a couple rap acts billed in the upper half, so with her new music and tour I think it's not outside the realm of possibilities. I'd love to see her put on a late night set.
Also thanks for not being a turd, lol. Like I said, I know she's not to everyone's taste, and I know it's a pipe dream, but I would really enjoy seeing her on the farm! Either way I'll be attending the closest Pinkprint US Tour date haha.

Has anybody talked about Hurray for the Riff Raff? They're on tour in the Spring and I could definitely see them being on the Bluegrass Situation stage

They're playing this year's Nelsonville Music Festival in southeast Ohio the last week of May. That festival normally has a fair amount of crossover with Bonnaroo (Wilco, Avett Bros, Head and the Heart, Valerie June, etc) so there's a decent chance of them playing Bonnaroo too.

Just looked at the lineup, hopefully it means we'll also get St. Vincent

Imma guess Hozier since his listed tour dates end in very early june.
I don't know about that. He's doing a pretty extensive U.S. tour February through April and he's scheduled to play Nashville three consecutive nights in March. After he finishes his May/June UK tour, my guess is that he will stay in Europe through the summer and play a bunch of European festivals. I think he's already booked for Rock Am Ring, which is held in Germany the weekend before Roo.
I thought someone awhile back that Kendrick seemed unlikely due to tour dates
He's headlining Air + Style Los Angeles in February, so that makes him unlikely for Coachella. Other than that, he only has one show in Arizona in March.

Tame Impala 's new album is coming, really hoping for a LN this year
Also, why isn't Kendrick coming this year?
I kinda hope that he is the LN which rap act that we get this year (because I highly doubt they'll get a better one) it would be kinda weird though that bonnaroo brought Kendrick back in 2013 even though his shows were almost identical and not that great and then they didn't bring him back in 2015 when he plays with a full band and will have a new album out.

I doubt we get him 3 of the last 4 years. 2016 is more likely.

Yeah, I still kinda expect him. If he isn't there this year though, he is basically a lock in for 2016

Hoping that the Bad Religion Coachella date means they will be doing festival runs this year. They are on my bucket list, and it'd be convenient if they show up at Roo.

I would love bad religion or rancid in the punk slot.
