Florance + the Machine, Beck, Alabama Shakes, DFA1979, Tame Impala, Future Islands, Run the Jewels, Refused, Caribou, Mac Demarco, Courtney Barnett, Parquet Courts
Could be my favorite undercard yet if we get all these.
Via the cesspool that is Reddit about Modest Mouse:
"I know its been a rumor floating around recently, but an inside friend close to Isaac said to expect him there in June. I give it a strong 99%. 1%, he hates me and wants me to kill myself."

Well, I wishh I trusted reddit, but I'm taking this with a whole bag of salt because I can't deal with this kind of disappointment if it is false

I'll put this under the category hopefully true, but I wouldn't bet my house on it
Will Silver Jews mark their glorious return with a visit to Bonnaroo? I believe they're based in Nashville now, so it really wouldn't be that far for them to travel.
Even though the headliners are fairly underwhelming, I think this could be the best undercard in recent years.
Artist's i am interested in that are nearly confirmed or 100%: Weezer, Robert Plant, My Morning Jacket, Alabama Shakes, Glass Animals, Trampled by Turtles (even though i feel like i have seen them a million times), Run the Jewels, Death Cab for a Cutie.

Billy Joel * Mumford & Sons * Kendrick Lamar * deadmau5
My Morning Jacket * Florence + The Machine * Weezer * Modest Mouse
Death Cab for Cutie * Robert Plant & The Sensational Space-Shifters * Bassnectar * Lana Del Rey * The Roots * St. Vincent The Decemberists * Spoon * Alabama Shakes * Tame Impala * Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals * Belle & Sebastian Childish Gambino * Gov't Mule * Death From Above 1979 * Ratatat * Charli XCX * Future Islands Run the Jewels * Flume * The War on Drugs * STS9 * Trampled By Turtles * Knife Party
Does Alt-J playing Nashville hurt their chances? I seen they are open in June...but their not playing Governors Ball.
Alt-J is at hurricane fest in Germany roo weekend.
No, that's the weekend after Bonnaroo.
They're playing Northside in Denmark the weekend of Roo...but they did the same in 2013. Played Roo on Thursday and Northside on Saturday. They could play Roo this year on Friday and Northside on Sunday.
Kind of a "haha" thought but I tweet them a day before saying "If Rx Bandits are playing Bonnaroo, don't respond." A day later they don't reply but tweet "RXB 2015 news coming soon" around the same time Bonnaroo tweeted "The best is yet to come."
Any word on The Black Angels? That 2011 set was amazing.
The best was the secret show they did in the ford theater. Air conditioning and cushioned seats watching an acoustic set. Got to meet them and talk a bit.
So in light of the headliner news, here are some people who would actually get me excited for roo...
-Robyn and Royksopp (Robyn was great at the farm) -HAIM (I know they are working on new material, so it would be amazing to see them bring some of that out) -Dawes -Yelle -Sia (Maybe she's qualified as a semi-headliner? anyway, I think she would fit in well at roo) -Julian Casablancas + The Voidz (saw them and liked it. It's not for everyone though. I'll admit that.) -Feist (I have no idea what she is up to, but I'd love to see her again at roo!) -Sucre (definitely will not be there, but I would love for her to get that kind of exposure) -The Ton Tons (not well known enough, so I'm not expecting it)
Edit: Bjork would also make things more exciting. I realize she is also probably considered a semi-headliner.
Well, did you see that his punk project is playing Coachella, I'm interested in both (barring conflicts)
Somehow I totally forgot that was an Oberst project. He has so many I lose track. I'm hoping he'll make his way east in some fashion
For sure, it took me multiple times of reading through to realize exactly who it was. I'd be happy to see conor at roo (especially he could shock everyone and make it a special Bright Eyes appearance!
