Lolla got Hilltop Hoods one year. I would love to get some aussie hip hop like hilltop, bliss n eso, or thundamentals. I would also love something out of the blue like Midnight Juggarnauts, Van She, or Vitalic. Probably wont happen.
This is all it will take for Bonnaroo to get my money.
Yes, this 100%. It fits right into their schedule too:
May 1-2 – Groezrock, Meerhout, Belgium May 23-25 – The 17th Annual Punk Rock Bowling & Music Fest, Downtown Las Vegas, USA June 20 – Amnesia Rock Fest, Montebello, QC, Canada June 24-27 – Provinssi , Seinäjoki, Finland Jul 16-18 – Resurrection Fest, Viveiro, Spain Aug 28-30 – Reading/Leeds Festivals, UK

I think I'd prefer Conor solo. Because then maybe Jim James could join him on stage. Plus then we'd get Bright Eyes songs too instead of just Desaparecidos. I'm HUGE fan.
Does anyone like Sia? A mid afternoon performance like this would be incredible.
YES. I really want her to be there. It would be an interesting and perfect pick. It would be awesome if she brought Maddie with her (the dancer. She is on Dance Moms).
Yes I watch Dance Moms. I realize it's not making me any smarter.

I love all of the videos she's made with Maddie! Sia is awesome.
Just checking in...has the complaining started in here yet? Because the headliner thread went down the tubes about 120 pages ago.
You realize no one was complaining in here, and then you started complaining in here, right
...I was making a joke. I was expecting another joke in return, like "Don't worry the complaints will come soon enough." Sorry I'm not a comedian? I'm not complaining at all. I'm glad some people are still trying to stay positive around here.
Really hoping the undercard sells me. Looking at what all has been confirmed, it's not looking so great for a return.
I already got my ticket, definitely leaning on the undercard making it worthwhile. I always get most excited about the lower half on the lineup anyways.
refused, the strokes/julian+voidz, antemasque, death from above 1979, slayer, grimes, lana, modest mouse, tycho, bass drum of death, alt j, flylo, diplo, phantogram, mew (long overdue), dan deacon, lykke li, mgmt, system of a down, ratatat, panda bear.
What are the bands Roo could get this year that would be surprising and/or unique choices, and potentially deliver unique late-night shows with a lot of on-stage elements to their show? Think Die Antwoord last year, Weird Al, Alice Cooper, GWAR, etc. I would have loved the Knife if they didn't break up...

give me 40-50% of this and I'd be thrilled
I would love at least 50% of that. This would make me a happy girl.
This doesn't rule them out but certainly isn't promising. From the Explosions in the Sky website
Hi Everyone,
Sorry that we've been running silent for awhile. The last few years have been pretty hectic for us (touring, working on soundtracks, etc.), so we've spent the last few months in hibernation. 2015 will also be on the quiet side, at least as far as touring and shows are concerned. This is because we'll be spending most of our time writing and recording stuff for a new album. We're well into the process, but we still have a ways to go. We're pretty excited about what we're coming up with and we'll keep you posted as we go. Anyway, we just wanted to say welcome to 2015 and we hope it goes okay for all of you. We're now in our sixteenth year as a band and we're grateful every single day that you're still listening. Take care.
Stupid Strokes and Robert Plant kept me from them in 2011 and I hope that is remedied in 2016.
More disappointed from this than the Billy Joel news

My Undercard Wishlist:
Modest Mouse, Passion Pit, Lana Del Rey, Spoon, Lorde, Panda Bear, Tame Impala, Ratatat, alt-J, FKA Twigs, Childish Gambino, Charli XCX, St. Vincent, Flying Lotus, Future Islands, Marina and the Diamonds, Azealia Banks, Of Monsters and Men, Radical Face, Freelance Whales, Lord Huron, & Why?/Yoni Wolf.
Those last few have absolutely no evidence (that I'm aware of) to support their being on the farm, but a boy can dream. If at least half of these acts are there though, I'll be fucking stoked.
2014:
April 05 - Twenty One Pilots
May 15 - Lana Del Rey
May 30 - Why?
June 12-15 - Roo '14
June 24 - Arctic Monkeys
September 05 - Twenty One Pilots
September 23 - Lorde
September 26 - Why?
So in light of the headliner news, here are some people who would actually get me excited for roo...
-Robyn and Royksopp (Robyn was great at the farm) -HAIM (I know they are working on new material, so it would be amazing to see them bring some of that out) -Dawes -Yelle -Sia (Maybe she's qualified as a semi-headliner? anyway, I think she would fit in well at roo) -Julian Casablancas + The Voidz (saw them and liked it. It's not for everyone though. I'll admit that.) -Feist (I have no idea what she is up to, but I'd love to see her again at roo!) -Sucre (definitely will not be there, but I would love for her to get that kind of exposure) -The Ton Tons (not well known enough, so I'm not expecting it)
Edit: Bjork would also make things more exciting. I realize she is also probably considered a semi-headliner.
Sia would be amazing, but it was my understanding that she's very weird about large-scale live performances and rarely does festivals.
