About damn time. If they close which the day Kanye is performing I'll be so sad though.
I'd agree, but I think I'm gonna be watching Kanye from the VIP Mound if Which has a good act leading into him. After all, the spectacle should benefit from distance right? No giant mountain obscuring Kanye for Mr. Pennysworth & Ms. Moneybags!

Seen them twice this tour and they are phenomenal would love to see them get a LN spot like the XX from last year but what are you guys thinking Pre HL or Which Closer?

I love love loveeeee them I'm so happy they'll be there!! Especially because all the shows they're playing around me on their tour are when I'm out of town. I've been dying to see AM songs live.

So I'll be honest. Arctic Monkeys is one of those bands I never "got", when I know I should. I really like the Alex Turner solo album (a few years ago) but need to revisit the AM material.
Any suggestions?

Listen to Favorite Worst Nightmare and Suck It and See.

Their debut record "Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not" and their most recent "AM" are my favorites for completely different reasons. Their first one was full of upbeat party songs with plenty of references to dancing, not surprising coming from a bunch of teenagers. Listen to "A Certain Romance" for what is likely going to be their show closer. AM is obviously a much more grownup record and they are arena ready with huge riffs and swagger for days. Really every album has been a step and has shown growth of some sort. It's really cool when you can listen to a band and see how they are changing over time.

The app schedule today has them down for Sunday afternoon What. I don't even care that they're playing mid day, I'm just happy they're not in a clusterfuck of conflicts, and that they're playing a huge stage. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing Yonder Mountain String Band anyways so I think I'll get a place in line for Arctic Monkeys Pit. How early do you expect I'd have to get in line to pull that off anyways?

Im also trying to get in the pit for this show, but i think Im gunna wake up and head straight there. AM and Broken Bells are really the only artists i care about Sunday before Elton

I did enjoy this show, but I was really really dissapointed that they dropped so much of their older material from their setlist. No 505. No "Certain Romance". No "Do me a Favour". Their older stuff is some of their greatest work and best live material and it makes me so sad they're dropping it from their sets.
