Hard working little band from my hometown, Memphis TN. often described as alt-country or country-punk, I think both of these are way off the mark. It's rock n roll about women, drinking, and bad boys. Ben Nichols sings with a whiskey and cigarette raspy-ness that may take some getting used to (my wife hates it, her loss). Check 'em, especially if you like bands such as Social Distortion and The Hold Steady (actually, one of their former guitarists is now in the hold Steady)
