I find it hard to believe it will be anything other than AM -> Jack White on the What. I'm probably naive.
isn't Lionel opening for Jack? If they play before jack it looks like I'm also gunna be missing all of my Saturday afternoon in line for the pit at AM
If so I missed that confirmation anywhere. I've haven't been keeping up with inforoo very well the past week.
Edit: To clarify, I recall insider saying something about only seeing Lionel as a headliner due to time slot, but not who he was playing before. If I missed that post then sorry.

We know the Avetts are on Sunday and we know the Bluegrass Situation Superjam will be closing a tent. This leads me to believe that Avetts are not the last show on What before Elton, but will rather play in the Beach Boys slot. I do not expect Roo to have two conflicting bluegrassy artists at a peak time for conflicts like that. For that reason, I have decided Sunday will be:
Avett Brothers > Vampire Weekend > Elton John on What

Are the Avett Brothers really that bluegrassy, though? I'd suggest they're more roots/americana at this point, at least that's what they sounded like the last time I heard them. I don't know that it's enough of a similarity, they had stuff like Wilco and Jim james conflicting last year, and that's about as alike as these two.

Nah you're right, they're not that bluegrassy - but a bluegrass fan would be pretty split on 'em. Just a theory.
Most of these, I'm cool with. But I think flip Phoenix and Skrillex at least. Dark is more essential to Skrillex's set-up than Phoenix's. And The Flaming Lips almost have to be after dark as well due to their light show even in its current form. I'd bet money on them playing the Which right before Jack White. I think Wiz Khalifa or Ice Cube are more likely to play What than Danny Brown, but you never know with that stuff.

Haha the "Skrillex during the day" thing has been my theory since lineup drop and I know it sounds weird. I literally have nothing to base it on except a gut feeling and the fact they tend to move bands up from Tent > Which > What.
I think Ice Cube will be Late Night Saturday and I'm expecting Wiz to play in a tent... But like, a prestigious tent slot. Like Late Night or closing a tent sunday.

I just dont think/hope Skrillex wont spend more then 1 day on the farm. Since he played latenight Which already, and we're having a coveted superjam with EDM I would think that would take priority as the night show.
Maybe Skrillex starts around sundown Saturday (Kaskade on Friday), takes a break and moves his gear to a tent, then plays latenight superjam.

I don't mean to be a hater, but could we keep the mock schedule discussion in its own thread? When I see new posts here I always get excited that we know something new. If I wanted to read through mocks, I'd go to that thread.
Smelling a Damon Albarn vs. Nick Cave vs. Lionel Richie conflict
edit: whoops, guess we already had that, my bad
I'm thinking Damon will play before Cave on the Which stage.
That would be fantastic, except for the fact that the sound on Which sucks. I'd be bummed about missing Richie but Albarn>Cave would be awesome. For some reason I feel like Cave will be in a tent, even though he's 12th on the lineup. He seems like a niche artist to me despite being that high.

I think you're right about Cave. I've also talked myself into thinking it will be late night right after Jack White.

The lowest billed act to play daytime tent last year was Beach House at 23. I'm not counting the Helms super jam. Cave in a tent is not likely.

I wouldn't mind that conflict at all it would be an easy choice to see Damon Albarn the more I listen to his solo stuff the more excited I get for his set. Neither Lionel or Nick Cave really do it for me.

I think they are going to load up Sunday again, like in 2012 with Beach Boys > Bon Iver > Phish all in a row. That was the 4th, 5th, and 3rd billed acts back-to-back. Avetts > Vampire > Elton would be 6th, 5th, and 1st.
