I discovered First Aid Kit at NFF last year. I've been listening to them a lot ever since. I'm excited to see them now that I actually know their stuff a bit!
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Yep, it was good. They were fun, sounded great...played a few from their new album, covered Simon & Garfunkel and Bob Dylan as well as playing all of the hits you would expect.

Nice. My original plan was to post up for this set but then decided to do the pit line for Cake instead. I'll most likely be able to catch these guys at The Ryman in October, so I feel like I made a pretty good choice at least.

I got a spot up front for the whole set. They were really good, these ladies have some beautiful music. They picked up the pace a little more than I expected. And it was cool to see them cover Dylan and Simon & Garfunkel.

I thought this was a great way to kick off Saturday. I found there to be some extremely beautiful moments and the final sing along was nice. Covering Dylan may have been the highlight though.
