Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Says that due to last minute lack of availability they won't be doin' on-site RVs. But that could be much more attractive than Tent City in the future...
Check out your local RV dealers, some offer rentals. If they do not I would ask them if they can recommend. Remember to ask about milage, generator usage and any other fees that you might incur.
From my experience of owning a RV I would stay away from private rentals (like craigslist). Many private owners are doing this to offset costs, the reality is they do not have the proper insurance if a loss occurs. Remember if it sounds too good to be true it most likely is.
Best of luck and let me know if you have any RV related questions.
I did a private rental in 2006 and 2010 - often if you can go through an organized private rental site, they sometimes have group insurance. Also be sure to look at your own insurance policy for what would be covered or not - and whether you can easily add a rider. (I have USAA who are very savvy with stuff like rentals.) I'd be just as careful with the big company rental places as the private ones - many dealers exempt insurance coverage inside festival grounds. I've rented to Roo 5 of my 10 years going, then another 3 of the through-Roo onsites.
One problem with the big box rental places is that some actually will NOT let you rent if you're going to Bonnaroo. (I have encountered at least one that flat out refused - and as I mentioned, some make you sign a waiver that the minute you enter Bonnaroo with the RV, their insurance doesn't apply - I had to sign one like that with El Monte in 2008.)
I'm not an RV owner, but have navigated the Roo rental stream a few times. The best bet it to reserve early, and the closer to your origin the more likely for availability.

This really sucks. I loved my on-site RV last year and it works great for those of us coming a long distance. Now we're scrambling to find a rental and they're going fast! I've reserved one out of Atlanta.
