The Glitch Mob is a trio of Glitch and Glitch Hop producers out of LA who go by the names of ediT, Boreta, and Ooah (Who you may also know as being 1/2 of Paintyraid)
I've seen them quite a few times and even recall them being my favorite set at ultra a few years back.
They don't phone in their sets with some pre-recorded tracks. They play live collaboratively with a pretty neat little drum pad set up
Here's a pretty cool video of them playing live at Red Rocks
Really hoping I get to see them. They're near the top of my list of acts to see. Almost hoping for a day time tent so I know they aren't apart of the late night conflicts that are inevitable.

But the lights! If they're not LN I'll be surprised

Trust me I would prefer that. I would be totally fine with the Boys Noize spot from last year.

The Glitch Mob has been on my "to see" list for years, but they haven't done much touring until this year. Their set is on my must-see list for this year. I will definitely not miss it.
I've seen them a few times. Once in a small venue back in 2010 with maybe 50 people there, once opening for Bassnectar in Asheville, NC and once at Red Rocks. I really dig them and have had a great time each show. I looking forward to this Roo show so much and hope the scheduling works out for a LN spot.

I actually gotta agree with you there. On one hand, I'd really hate to see them get stuck with a shitty afternoon tent slot. But on the other hand, I'd really really really hate to have to miss them in favor of seeing Flaming Lips, Skrillex superjam, or insert whatever other epic latenight that is bound to happen
The Glitch Mob is for sure a Top 5 show for me. I know it is a long shot but, how amazing with it be if Jack White came out and played Seven Nation Army with them.... One can dream right?

This is a can't miss set for me. I would love to be close for it. I have wanted to see them for years now but have never had a chance until now. The new album is great. Really looking forward to this.

This was hands down my favorite electronic act this year. Straight up visceral beats with tribal drums and dirty synths. I danced until I couldn't dance any more, and then I did. I kept telling myself I didn't care my legs hurt, that me knee was going out on me, that I was out of water. I had regressed to a primeval creature whose only function was to get low. It was magnificent.

I mean, I had nothing to compare it to. In retrospect, it could have been louder, but it was loud enough for me. Of course I also made it up to the rail by the time the show was over, so that might have helped.
The sound was fine as far as I was concerned. I've seen them in a small indoor setting so of course that was more, in your face. But for a tent? It was good.
