Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
You guys realize this is Jack White and not The White Stripes or the Raconteurs right?
Yeah it's just going to be Jack sitting on a stage all alone talking for an hour and a half. He won't play songs from either band. No instruments or anything.

You do realize that if Jack White wins, Kanye will still be at Bonnaroo, right? Maybe not on time, though.
You do realize that a lot of people dislike Kanye because he's a giant asshole and will be skipping his show because of it, right?
You know Jack White is a giant asshole and uses his kids as tools in his personal contrived, megalomaniac feuds right?
I think both artists are very talented, but calling Kanye an asshole and not Jack White is delusional.
Jack's a great guitarist and has been a part of some great projects and recorded some fantastic albums, but solo he doesn't get my panties wet and I don't really understand why he would. Before the line-up dropped a lot of people here were saying he probably couldn't even headline.

As soon as the seeds came out I had a feeling Jack White was going to win. He's the safe pick. He's modern and has enough projects where everyone is familiar with him. Although he is an asshole, its not as public and well known like Kanye. His music and style definitely appeases a good majority of the Bonnaroo crowd. People may avoid hip-hop or edm all together but very few will come to Bonnaroo and not see some "guitar rock" during their stay.
It's like every two years or so I pick Kansas to win the tournament. They might not win every time, but people are completely justified in their reasoning for picking them. Kansas has a good coach, and usually has a team that is together as a unit and has some experience along with some great talent. Jack White is a recognizable name, an amazing guitarist with music that is accessible. He's Kansas

I kind of like how he'll be able to pull from different stuff.
And is Meg White that amazing on the drums to where we are missing out? I mean other than the band names I don't see an advantage. Possibly the setlist for the White Stripes would be best.

I never saw Jack put his hands on a female paparazzi, can't say the same for Kanye. I'm sure Jacks an asshole too, but Kanye is on a whole other level. I'll watch them both. The point of my post was merely to mess with Nate for whining about people picking Jack over Kanye.
