Great lineup. They really need to raise the stage at Yonge and Dundas Square for the free shows. You can never see anything and it's always too quiet, but the free shows are usually stacked. I've been lucky enough to see GZA, The Flaming Lips, Iggy and The Stooges, and Portugal. The Man for free.

I forgot about the free shows.
Last year The National Played free at Y&D (while we were at roo). Does the biggest act always play the free show? ie: Spoon?
I would like to know this before I buy wristbands.

Ive heard that Spiritualized is playing Massey Hall on the 20th and Tune Yards are playing their on the 19th. Has anyone ever been there before? Do you know when they will announce the lineup? Individual tickets? Id love to go but It would suck if you can only get wristbands and then stand in line for hours for these things.

When you say "has anyone ever been there before", do you mean Massey Hall, or NXNE?
If Massey, I am not a fan of theatres for music (I like to shake it), but it a great venue. Excited t see The National there in a few weeks.
As for NXNE shows, individual tickets are available for shows too, at the door only, and only once the wristband holders stop arriving.
