Not too sure where to post this at, so I'll try it here. Mods, if it needs to be moved or anything, please do so.
Would anyone be interested in doing some hiking and camping this spring/summer/fall? Can be anything from a short day hike to a nice extended hike. I tend to do quite a few hikes during the year and am planning on doing some long hikes.
If anyone lives in the Southern Illinois area, Shawnee National Forest is an amazing area which contains the River-to-River trail. The trail goes from the Indiana border to the Missouri border, taking roughly 2 weeks.
So yeah, if any Inforoosters are interested, let's talk about it and see what we can do.

I'm down for hiking, but I only do day hikes. I can't bring myself to do the whole backpacking thing, I need my air mattress and cooler. I'm in Southern Indiana and have the Hoosier National Forest for recreation although I do get to Southern Illinois every month or two because my bestie lives in Fairfield.
