I brought a deck of cards, and we became friends with our neighbors 2 years ago by playing copious amounts of Asshole. When you wake up at 9am and the acts you wanna see don't start until 2, you've got some time to fill. People would come and go to see shows throughout the day, but it seemed like all day there was always at least 4 people playing asshole. Then we would all pregame together before the headliner. Bring cards; you'll make friends that way.

Oh man, card games with neighbors can be great! But it can also make shit awkward! It was in '09 we were playin' cards with neighbors on Wednesday night. One of my buddies commented to a young male and female who had joined or circle about how long they'd been fuckin' and how good she was at it and whatnot. Turns out they were brother and sister and we never saw them again that weekend.
But my Canadian and Texan neighbors in '10 shared many a game with us, along with their moonshine and food!

I think a scavenger hunt would be a lot of fun. Have random items that you could get from other camps and stuff you could find around centeroo. You wouldnt be playing the game at camp and you get to meet other people in the process.

Back to this idea...I really like it. A new thread called "Scavenger Hunt" might be in order. Folks could add hunt items to the list. I don't know how the hunt would work, exactly, but that's a bridge that can be crossed later. All credit going to theamazingswan, of course

Something I beleive I've seen done in the past is basically a photo op scavenger hunt. Basically come up with a rediculous list of stuff to get your picture taken with and then share afterwards and see who got the most. That way your not blowing(not blowing I guess since you want to do it, but you get what I mean) all kinds or time and energy running around and missing shows.

I guess that we could do something that involves taking pictures with things and bringing back actual things. Like, "Take a pic of yourself with your arm around a guy with a mohawk" and "Find a brochure from an organization whose name starts with B"...stuff like that.

If you make it $5 entry fee, the winner would get the next year's bonnaroo ticket paid for if ~60 people joined in. Seems like it'd be great fun + a great reward. The list would need to be extensive enough to be able to single out a winner. Also... I think I like the pictures idea the best.

I'd say there is a great time to hang out at camp if you arrive Wednesday night. Last year people were sooo excited and restless. The atmosphere was insane and unlike the rest of the weekend in the campgrounds that night. I did a lot of exploring that night, but def could've fit in time for a drinking game. Would be a nice way to meet neighbors. Also, Thursday before 4 might be nice. The line for centeroo when it opened at 12 was stupid anyways.
But from thursday onward, I see no time for games until sunday post headliner.
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
