I have recently come into possession of something that will help your Roo pile out a lot. Everyone needs flashlights right? I am going to give away a FREE Carhartt branded Mini Maglight ( I work there and got a deal and extras for here and some other people). As we all know they are nice durable and almost wook proof. All I ask is that you say "I'm in" and try and be positive on the board like I am trying to do on this post. I care about everyone on here want everyone to have a really good time. That includes not stumbling around in the dark. Say in a porto at 3a.m.? Or even stumbling back to camp or that flying saucer you are convinced that is real it is a hell of a Mothership signaling device! I got you cuz! I will let this contest run for a month and end it on April 2nd of 2014. At that time I will have someone draw a name from a hat. That is all it is that simple. I will even send some extra batteries to help out in case you need them during the festival. Running out of batteries is a real bummer. I will get some pictures up of an example of what you are going to get it comes in a nice case and such to. Just wanted to get it up and running as I have already talked to the Scrogfather and received his blessings on this. Who knows I might even have another giveaway or two in the works. Let us use the rest of our time leading up to Roo to do as many nice things as we can for each other it will help set the tone for another weekend of greatness! Oh I'm in! BTW, is there a scholarship thread this year? I haven't seen one...
Not to my knowledge but I do have an erratic schedule and have huge amounts of time I am not on the board due to work and only getting on on my phone well the board is not to great to read on a phone it would be nice if there was but for there to be such a thread a lot of people are going to have to come together to make it happen. After all it only works if we make it work. This is just something I am doing outside of Qsaroo but in the continuing spirit of it. I am not really an organizer of things that require much coordination and usually wander off on my own tangent 95% of the time but I would like to help if there is one this year we have worked on it for several years and I hope it is a tradition we can continue. If we have just 300 people chip in a $1 we can at least do one scholarship realistically we need $2 from everyone it would not be right for someone to leave a loved one behind while they go enjoy all the fun in the case of a significant other/spouse might even cause problems with the relationship. I will ask around and see what can be done.
